One Love- Jamaican romance film starring Ky-Mani Marley (Bob's son) and Cherine Anderson (who's also a reggae performer). Plus Idris Elba in what has to be one of his shittier roles... I'll be nice and give it a 4. They're two people from different worlds (Rasta and church-going preacher's daughter) who ultimately come together. Never seen that before. Some real cheesy parts, as expected... why the hell I watched this, I'm not sure. I dug Ky-Mani in a shitty gangster flick (Shottas), so I figured this'd be somewhat worth it. Meh.

Always wanted to see this movie. Finally set the DVR to record on
HBO earlier this week.

Pretty cool movie. The actor who played Pablo Escobar was out of place. I thought that make-up job was a joke.

Depp did a fine job acting. The story went out a bit too long.

Third World Cop- 5/10. Another Jamaican movie; this one's said to be the top-grossing film in the history of Jamaican cinema. Badass cop goes up against organized crime; hardly original, but somewhat enjoyable.

I enjoyed the movie, but I just felt it didn't really go anywhere. Mila Kunis' role could have been expanded. They put a lot of ideas out there, but just never developed them further.

I thought the three main leads did a good job with their roles. Much like the movie I watched prior to this, "Extract", this put a lot of ideas on the table and didn't really expand on them like I would have done personally. I had the feeling a lot of the time that they were shown getting into a car and then the next scene was them getting out in a new location, as if the entire journey was deleted.

Repo Men~8/10. Repo men reposses organs from people when they fall behind on their payments. One of the repo men gets a heart transplant while hurt on the job & cannot afford the payments, & his fellow repo men go after him. Lots of action & gore.

Splinter--4/10 I honestly don't know why I keep watching horrors movies. It was basically Feast with none of the wit or charm. Very dumb.

Stripes- 7/10. Hadn't seen this before; definitely a funny film with a solid cast. The graduation scene was fucking great.

Best In Show- Also a solid 7/10. Had seen it when I was younger, but really didn't remember much. Fred Willard was good as the annoying commentator who clearly knows nothing about dog shows. His idea for the book of scantily-clad women bathing their dogs...

The Wicker Man (Nick Cage version) 3/10 As a film itself. 8/10 for the laughs we got from it while watching it. "How did it burn? HOW DID IT BURN HOWDIDITBURNHOWDIDITBUUUUUUURN!" Ghost Rider karate-kicking Leelee Sobieski as he's stealing a bear suit has got to be one of the greatest scenes in cinema history.

I just watched Get Smart last night and it was funnier than I thought it would be so I'll give it a 6.5. And while you all know I'm not one for skinny chicks, I would so reserve a ride on the Rikstik for Anne Hathaway. That girl is just smoking. And the fact that she likes the buttsecks just totally fucking rules!

Also saw Men Who Stare at Goats and found it pleasantly quirky and entertaining.

A cool comedy romance starring Ricky Gervais. I liked The Invention of Lying, and I also like this. Ricky Gervais is not only a great comedian, he's also pretty convincing as an actor. Has great comedic lines and stuff.

Exactly as stupid and forgettable as you think it would be; a lot of fun while watching it (if you can get past the huge anachronisms), but ultimately a movie designed for late night cable, if that.
