Sam Kinison's Family Entertainment Hour. 8.5/10.

Some ppl think this isn't as good as Breaking The Rules, but I actually like this one more. It's hilarious to hear him talk a bunch of shit about rap and how rappers should be killed, and Ice-T is sitting right in the audience. I love when he calls up the whores and yells at them for the guys in the audience. Just as funny, the third time.

Predators: Much, much better that Predator 2 and the Alien vs. Predator films. Wasn't too sure about Adrien Brody having the lead role in this, but he won me over. He did a great job.

Brooklyn's Finest: This was one of the best movies I've seen this year. Totally wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did. Never have liked Richard Gere, but he was great in this. Also, I was just happy to finally see Wesley Snipes in something that didn't go straight to cable.

Gere has been great lately (the hoax, the hunting party, brooklyns finest) all those films were commercial failures but hes doign the best acting of his live right now.




Whiteout, I love crime drama, the setting was great and different, kate was hot as always but still it was just 6/10

Had to watch Eclipse about a week or so ago, and I may have to watch it tomorrow as well. UGH. Complete load of crap. -1/10 just 'cos all the corporate bullshit that goes with it makes me wanna puke blood.

Watched Tarkovsky's 'The Sacrifice' last night. It wasn't quite how I expected it to be. That said, a solid 8/10.

The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus--7/10 I enjoyed it for the most part. It dragged a bit in some parts, but visually it was pretty awesome.

5/10...and the only reason it even gets a 5 is because of the presence of Timmy O. But even he couldn't save that steaming pile of crap. I got so bored watching it that I grabbed my laptop and started doing homework instead.

A Serbian Film....remember all the complete horseshit hype that Human Centipede was getting about being such a fucked up sick movie? Compared to A Serbian Film, it was fucking Paul Blart Mall Cop....A Serbian Film lives up to it's notoriety, in fucking spades....it is also very well made, and well acted....and oh did I mention fucked up to it's sick little core?

Serbian Film gives Martyrs a decent run for it's money for a film that just made me feel dirty all over....Serbian Film perhaps takes the cake though, cause it's really pretentious and artsy, and fucking bitingly hilarious at times.

I think this is one that's going to make fans of the most extreme cinema wince. I think to say that's it's profoundly unsettling it putting it lightly.

Which isn't to say it's without merit artistically. Like you said, it's very well made and the acting is very good. This isn't August Underground or Hanger. Maybe that's what bothered me so much - I was watching a good movie that was chock full of the most horrifying imagery ever put on screen.

I thought I knew what I was in for (I had read about one of the more infamous scenes) and I was still unprepared.

And you're right about it being hilarious at times - I can think of two scenes in particular that made me laugh out loud.

To say this movie is not for the faint of heart is an understatement. I've seen some fucked up shit and this movie knocked the fucking wind out of me.
