8 Heads In A Duffle Bag. 0 out of 10. I hope none of you ever have to see this. If you have seen it, I'm sorry for even bringing it up again.
Hoffa. 8 out of 10. Jack Nicholson was great as Hoffa. Danny Devito was bad-ass in it too. Only complaint was it was a bit slow, but still good.

Brighton Rock - 7/10.
Good sense of period (1964), but something missing (not sure what) to make it a classic.

I didn't like it very much, but the 'aim for the bushes' scene made me laugh so fucking hard. Best surprise in a flick in years.Fletch wrote:The Other Guys (2010) 6/10

Paranormal Activity 2 - 4/10.
Loved the first one, but this one lost me almost immediately.
Question for you...
If you think your house is being vandalized/burglarized, do you:
a) Install an alarm system that will alert the police if there's a disturbance
b) Just put cameras up everywhere so you can see what the burglars look like.

"The American" - George Clooney. Boring fucking snoozefest, .01/10.
Rented it from Redbox versus paying retail ticket price, 10/10.

Black Swan - 3/10 -- Sorry, this movie was fucking stupid. And no I wasn't confused. I got it. And it's still stupid. In fact, I thought it was downright bad.
The Kids Are All Right - 8/10 -- Thought I'd be bored by this lesbo pic, but it was surprisingly funny and well done. The entire cast turns in great performances.
The Social Network - 5/10 -- Another over hyped flick. It's not bad, but it's not some masterpiece. I mean, c'mon.

Suddenly, Last Summer - 8/10. Starring Elizabeth Taylor, Katherine Hepburn & Montgomery Clift.
It's about Catherine Holly (Elizabeth Taylor) who's committed to a mental institution after witnessing the death of her cousin. Her aunt (Katherine Hepburn) believes her visions to be false, and asks a young doctor (Montgomery Clift) to give her a lobotomy.
It's an adaptation of the Tennessee Williams play.

Case 39 8/10
not sure how this one slipped under my radar for so long...oh wait, it might be because i despise Renee Zellweger. surprisingly, she was very effective in this movie. i know the whole evil kid thing is played out, but this little girl is the creepiest i've seen in a long time.

Foxy Brown: 10/10
First, get drunk or stoned or something. This is teh_awesomest in the blaxploitation genre.
You gots your cokeheads.
You gots your gunfights.
You gots your tits...lots and lots of tits.
You gots your lesbian bar.
You gots your craptastically amazing 1970's decor.
You gots your hookers
You gots your forced heroin injections
You gots a penis in a mayonnaise jar.
Run, don't walk to Netflix streaming and enjoy this classic.

Catfish - 9/10: Extremely fascinating documentary that kept my attention the whole way through. It reminded me of when I played a prank on my best friend about 10 years ago over MSN. Shows you how fucked the internet can be.
The Fighter - 8.5/10: Christian Bale's best ever performance as far as I'm concerned. I loved him in American Psycho, but fucking hell, this is what Christian Bale would possibly look like if he wasn't a hot shot celebrity. Great flick

Foxy Brown has one of the best endings in the ENTIRE history of film. It's up there with the end of Superfly.
Get up Man
Start a Band
It's nothing new

The Barkleys Of Broadway - 10/10. Starring Ginger Rogers & Fred Astaire.
Their reunion movie, made 10 years after leaving RKO. It's also their last one together.
Josh and Dinah Barkley are a veteran song-and-dance couple whose routine bickering turns into a complete breakup when Dinah decides she hasn't received enough credit for her talent and leaves Josh to take a straight dramatic role

I hate Will Smith. Everything he's done has been a big pile of not good stuff to watch. Except for the Fresh Prince TV Show. That was hilariously wacky!
