The King's speech - 7 / 10 - Good movie, interesting and all that but not "wow this deserve the oscar for best picture and directing".
Luke 16:10 "and he that is unjust in the least, is unjust also in much"

Trash Humpers (2009) - 4/10. One of those completely odd/awful/fascinating types of no budget flicks. Lots of fast forwarding, but I can see why IDI rated it a 10/10.

Hard Eight (1996) - 6.5/10.
PT Anderson's film prior to Boogie Nights, using a few of the same cast members as well as part of the score. Not bad.

127 hours - 7/10 definitely worth watching.
Buried - 6/10 OK, not as worth watching.

Troll Hunter 10/10
This movie is the best to come out of 2010. Norwegian movie about a group of film makers trying to catch an illegal bear hunter. Turns out he's not hunting bears, but trolls. Beautiful pictures and lot's of fun dialogue and horror. This movie is just waiting to get a Hollywood remake.

oh shit I just watched Blind Fury last night, and I believe it was the same kid in it...Brandon Call who was also in Step By Step.Fletch wrote:The Adventures Of Ford Fairlane (1990) - 5/10.
Anyway... Blind Fury (1989) 7.8 out of 10. Rutger Hauer was great in it. I remember this movie from my childhood. It was still pretty entertaining.

Audition - ?
I have no idea what to rate this.
First hour and 15 minutes were slow, end was weird and intense.

Re: Rate the last movie you saw
Rewatched a few movies this weekend and finally watched the fighter.
Scary Movie 4: I don't know if it's because I wasn't stoned or because I'm down with the flu, but I didn't think it was funny. 5/10.
I remember really liking the first one when it came out, gonna have to check it out again. Probably sucks too.
The Cube:I'm not big on the SF genre but goddamm what a great fuckin movie. Gotta love the concept. Masterpiece. 10
Hypercube: Not bad for a sequel, but doesn't compare to the first one. 7/10
Cube Zero: Not bad for a prequel. 8/10
The Fighter: I thought it was just ok. 7.5/10
Bale does a great job here in my opinion though. His crack head mannerisms and shit...
Lemme ask you Americans this: how about his accent? I can't detect anything wrong, but Bale plays an American in a lot of movies, I'd like to know how believable he is from a yank point of view.

Kids are alright - 6/10 - All acting is superb. Got a cold hearted liberal vibe from the screenplay and the directing. Should get an oscar for best supporting actor

Yeah I remember thinking it was funny as hell especially parts like the rap battle ala 8 mile. Then again, its different when you're watching that higher than a kite with your buddies.

Agree with this - it's a rubbish film. I think I maybe laughed - or, rather, kinda chuckled once. Unfunny and predictable.FreaKShoW wrote:Paul.....fuckin shit!

I'm so glad I don't have to pay to watch films as there's been so much crap churned out recently.
I watched Tangled and Gnomeo and Juliet recently with the kids - they were both oookk but really nothing special.
Oh and - saw The Kings Speech recently too. My mother's a royalist thus, obviously, I don't rate this film highly. Colin Firth did a good job though. 6/10.

You got it all baby. Big tits and free movies.
My momma is a presidentialist so I'm sure I'll rate this film very highly once I can figure out a way to watch it for free.drops_of_jupiter wrote:saw The Kings Speech recently too. My mother's a royalist thus, obviously, I don't rate this film highly.
