The Night Of The Hunter - 5/10. Starring Robert Mitchum. It was either really boring, or my A.D.D. was acting up again.

Junior Bonner - 9/10. Starring Steve McQueen.

Last House on the Left ('09) 7/10 -- Pretty much kept me creeped out from start to finish.

Had to sit through Pirates of The Caribbean 4 with my niece. What a crock of shit - I kept trying to fall asleep but the film was too damn loud. 5/10 - but only for some of the effects.

I know. It sounds boring so far, right? It's not. Little indy film with Alan Rickman, Bill Pullman, Dennis Farina and for you boys, there's even a little Eliza Dushku and a lot of Rachael Taylor.

Pot, booze, hippies. The triumvirate of quality films. Seriously, check it out - I don't think you'll be disappointed. 4/5
I saw this a year or so ago..Was one of the better movies I'd seen in a while..

Unbreakable 9/10

Yeah, I've seen it before. I just forgot how clever I thought it was. Interesting concept for a comic/not comic book movie.

"The Girl Can't Help It" - 7/10 (cute Jayne Mansfield comedy with lots of Rock N' Roll)

"Daddy and Them" - 5/10 (weird white trash hillbilly movie with Billy Bob Thornton)

"Decoys" - 4/10 (really dumb and sometimes funny college horror flick with Kim Poirier's tits and Nicole Eggert in a side role)

"Kick-Ass" - 7/10 (this is absolute genius for a comic book movie)

"Spring Breakdown" - 2/10 (unfunniest shit I've seen in years, starring some SNL women)

"Meet Joe Black" - 3/10 (stupid, gay as fuck, and longer than anything should ever be)

Red,White, and Blue 7/10...

I hated this movie because of the terribleness I felt during it, and since it stirred up a strong emotion, I consider it a pretty good movie.

Basically about a girl who sleeps with anyone that has a dick except for friends. She ends up getting in a relationship with a guy who seems like a pretty fucked up individual himself. She starts to clean up her act, but then shit totally hits the fan when one of the guys she slept with kidnaps her for a reason that would be too much of a spoiler if i typed it here.

I grew up in the hospitality industry and the interaction between the men and women in that movie is about dead on. Everyone bangs everyone and a lot of people in the industry are incredibly talented, but kind of rudderless fuck ups.

And there's a party after every shift. Also Koechner nailed the manager. That douchebaggy over nice dipshit without a clue.

I loved this movie. The characters were well-developed and the third act is just fucking visceral. It's a totally devastating movie and at the same time, sort of restrained.

Thor - 4/10

Ugh. Just....ugh.

The Haunted Mansion - 2/10.

Wasn't expecting anything resembling a good movie, and I got exactly what I expected. 2 stars for Rick Baker's makeup.

The Other Guys - 6/10

Terrible movie, but very, very funny. Every time a plot point came up, I wanted to kill myself. I would have gladly just watched 90 minutes of these characters driving around riffing on each other, lame plot be damned.

The Howling - Now: 7/10. Then: 10/10.

Scared the living fuck out of me as a kid, and still decent, but hasn't aged well at all.

I can't stand Ali McGraw. Stupid twat. I kept hoping he'd shoot her, or throw her down a flight of stairs, or something.

I probably would've rated it a 10 if it weren't for her stupid ass.

The Hangover Part II - 4/10

It's the exact same movie, beat for beat. Which doesn't work as a sequel, seeing as how the original was somewhat of a mystery. When every event from the first is mirrored you know exactly what's going to happen in every scene.

There are some funny moments (mostly lines that sound like they were ad-libbed by Zach Galifianakis), but as a whole it's such a predictable rip-off of the first one that it actually ends up being really depressing to watch.

Maybe I need go watch it again. I find myself liking movies upon further viewing. I actually hated Old School the first time I saw it. Then I killed a 12 pack and watched it again and loved it.

I was that way with both Anchorman and Talladega Nights. I thought they were fine but I didn't see the big deal. I like Anchorman a little bit more now but I think Talladega is a lot better than I originally thought.

The Other Guys might be the best Ferrell/McKay movie yet, maybe surpassing Step Brothers. MAYBE. That movie is incredible.
