Only flaw in the film.
Kevin Bacon was pretty evil. I liked it.

The Runaways. 9/10. I thought this was a great movie, heard a lot of good things about it on here before. I don't know how accurate it was, but I thought it was a great rock movie. The girls were really good especially the one who played Joan Jett, and Cherie Currie was hot in it.

Resident Evil "After Life" - 8/10 - Watched it a few times this week. It's the best one in the series, just keeps getting better.

Outland - It's amazing how we envisioned the future in 1982.

Peter Boyle is a badass bad guy. Cliff Claven's mom is the lead actress. Horrible film. Wildly entertaining.

Lincoln Lawyer

I liked this movie a lot and not only because of Matthew McConaughey's hotness.

Skyline 6? Ugh, thought that was the worst movie I saw last year..

Anyway,

X-Men First class: 8 - Really a good movie

Green Lantern: 5 - and I'd grade it even lower compared to X-Men

Mo' Money(....mo' money....mo' money) (1992). 6.5/10. Marlon Wayans was pretty funny in this. The skits were better on In Living Color.

Bean (1997). 6/10. It was pretty funny too, but Mr. Bean was kind of annoying in some parts.

Skyline - (-10/10) Worst pile of shit I have ever seen bar none.

Battle Los Angeles - (6/10) I thought it was a 10/10 after watching it immediately after Skyline.

Those two films remind me of when Hollywood put two equally shitty end of the world movies out in Deep Impact and Armageddon.

Never saw deep impact, but it's true.
Skyline, Battle Los Angeles and friggin' Armageddon were skimmed out of the same shitbowl.
Skyline was the the friggn' worst movie I saw last year.
Battle: Los Angeles was the worst movie I saw this year.
And was there ever a bigger colossal piece of shit than Armageddon? I usually like Bruce Willis movies (outside say Hudson Hawk), but that one was just frigging horrible.

Oh yeah, while I'm at it.
Conan O'Brien Can't Stop : 6/10 Really no need to see it in a theater, wait for DVD.

Don't You Forget About Me - 8/10

4 independent documentary film makers go on a search for film director John Hughes, who disappeared from Hollywood in 1991.

Kinda slow, but the interviews with John's stars, co-workers, neighbours etc show the "human" side of Mr. Hughes. (Or what little people really knew about him) I think this was filmed shortly before he died in 2009.

Funny - his movies have now spanned 3 generations, and IMO, no one has come close to capturing teens as well as he did.

No one hit so many home runs directly followed by pure money grabs as Hughes. The fact that Breakfast Club and Ferris Bueller are the only Hughes films released on blu-ray is criminal. Any and all footage of him explaining anything regarding his processes/success need to be available to the public. Like legislation style.

Swamp Shark: 6/10

Another in the growing list of ridiculous SyFy Channel movies.

This one stars Kristy Swanson, who some may remember as the original Buffy.
