I took my own advice and watched it again last night for the first time in about 12 years. 8.5/10. Still a great flick. One of Christopher Walken's better roles. Great indie movie, and it feels like you are watching real people's lives and not actors.

Red Dragon (2002) 7/10. Some silly parts, but I had fun watching it.

Don't Be Afraid of the Dark - 6/10

It was fine - not scary, and Katie Holmes was only somewhat bearable, but points for that house. Major house porn for me.

X Men; First Class 2/10, and that's being generous. granted, i'm not a comic geek, but between my son and my husband i'm pretty conversant when it comes to the history of the X Men. that movie was so fucking boring it took all i had just to stay awake. even my son is a huge X Men fan hated it.

Loved the original, scared the shit out of me as a kid. I'm afraid to see what they've done to it.

Contagion----3/10===with a stellar cast and a decent director the movie still sucked and was a ripoff of a better picture called Outbreak with Dustin Hoffman

'Fright Night' ~ 6/10. Piece o' shiiiiiiiit. If it wasn't for Colin Farrel's hotness I'd give it 4/10.

Thor (4/5) - I never got into Thor comics but I really enjoyed the movie. They should have cast someone else as Volstagg as I kept waiting for the character to break out some firearms and kill everyone.

Captain America (3.5/5) - Good. I like what they have done with the origin and how the story focuses on WW2. That costume though, no matter how they try to change it, just doesn't adapt well to live action.

Yeah, Contagion was downright boring at times. Cost me $17 a pop to see that shit in fake IMAX, too.

Boy, I could sit for hours and listen to discussion of movies even my fucking parents thought were too old timey along with clever responses like "Oh common".

Who needs movies with this kind of entertainment?

It doesn't get any more entertaining than Father of The Bride with Steve Martin, and Martin Short.

The Fighter with Mark Wahlberg, Christian Bale, and Amy Adams. 8/10

Really good movie, excellent performances, especially Bale's. And for once the actors got the accents right.

Thor: 6/10

Nothing special, but certainly watchable.
It took me almost halfway through to recognize Ray Stevenson as Volstagg.

OMG that was an awesome movie. It was perfect! It's probably the most well done X-Men movie yet!

Cape Fear - 8/10. Starring Robert Mitchum.

Robert Mitchum plays Max Cady and Gregory Peck plays Sam Bowden. This is better than the remake.

Mitchum is awesome in Cape Fear (and in general). If you haven't seen it yet, be sure to check him out in The Night of the Hunter (1955) - arguably his best role.
