Loved the cast with Cameron diaz, jennifer lopez, anne kendrick, elizabeth banks, dennis quaid, chris rock Enjoyable movie 7.5/10

Then i sneaked into a later showing of

Battleship
Just a kick ass movie 8/10 Rihanna was allright in her role, had no idea turtle from entourage was in it, tought they found a pretty clever way to introduce the battleship grid/fighting. Dont wanna spoil it but they had a cool idea for the final battle.

It sucked. If I didn't have to go back to work later that day, I probably would have walked right into another movie just to try to forget about this one.
It made Silent House look Oscar-worthy.

One of the leads was the computer tech guy from Live Free or Die Hard.
I kept waiting for him to say "the video package is prepped and set."

It wasn't as bad as the suckfests known as Skyline and Battle Los Angeles, but it still wasn't that good. Maybe worth a rental if anything.

Killer Elite(2011) with Clive owen, jasan statham and robert de niro good old song action flick that takes place in the early 80's 8/10

Hugo - 7.5/10 Visually stunning kid's film by Martin Scorsese that would be fun for any age. It probably would have made a good Christmas film (I don't know when it came out).

The Lady in Black - 7/10

Radcliffe did alright, but his character wasn't terribly interesting, so I can't really say that it was a breakout performance or anything. Pretty good, old school ghost flick. The movie gets off to a slow start, but once it gets going it's pretty good. Not very gory, but the ghosts are pretty awesome looking once they actually get some screen time - worth your time.

Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels - 7/10

I've seen Snatch many times, and I knew this was a "sister" film to it. Essentially, Snatch is a higher budget remake of it. Guy Ritchie is a bit formulaic, but if you enjoy the formula (goofy characters, series of coincidences bringing everyone together, etc.) then it's a pretty good time.
