Compliance - 7/10. It's based on a true story, about a guy who calls fast food joints and convinces managers their employees have done something wrong. The movie focuses on one of the numerous cases, in which the manager held the employee hostage, no phone no clothes, etc. It's hard to believe anyone fell for this, but apparently they did. The movie doesn't wrap up the full story, you'll need to read up on it for yourself. Oh and the actual store security footage, uncensored, is on liveleak.

Jay and Silent Bob Get Old - 3/10. "half, half, whole" cracked me up. Still does. But that's pretty much the only funny part.

I dont understand though what the deal was with the blue box. Was Naomi Watts dead or some shit? Was she having a flashback?

someone enlighten me please.
She makes out with Laura Harring.
That scene was pretty sexy.

David Lynch movies are designed not to make sense.

He tries saying that's not the case, but he's lying.

Demon Seed: 5/10

Always wanted to see this one after seeing bits and pieces of it on cable as a kid. Finally saw the whole think in seven parts on Youtube.
Its still watchable, but really dated. I'm kinda surprised nobody tried to remake it with today's touches.

The Possession. 3/10

Typical Hollywood demonic possession movie. Nothing new or creative about this one. Same formula as pretty much all of them. Wait for the DVD, or skip it all together.

The Mercury Men (10/10)

Technically not a movie but a series of 6 - 9 minute episodes which automatically advance to the next episode. Free on Hulu. Retro science fiction, B&W, very well done and made for less than $10,000.

Download the Jay Mohr podcast with Charlie Sheen. He tells a hundred stories about making that movie. Reveals so many things that aren't on the blu ray extras.

I saw a preview and the director said that there will be references to the first two but you don't need to have seen them for this one.
It's the first one to go without the POV handheld camera and it will be a horror/comedy with one of the leads being a bride with a chainsaw.
Trailers are on Youtube.

REC 3-Genesis - 4/10. Wasn't annoyingly bad but it wasn't anything special.
I haven't seen the second one so the the only reference to the first one I noticed was at the end.
V/H/S is going to be shown next month.

Just remembered that there was a scene with the husband in the control room and over his shoulder was a tv with a feed that showed a woman outside a building reporting as the chaos is going on.
I would guess that was a reference to REC 1 as well.
