The History of the Eagles - 9/10. Even if you aren't an Eagles fan this is worth the effort. Gotta have three hours to burn though.

Have seen the movie dozens of times but had to watch again
last night.
I know, I know, this movie is a remake. Have not found time to watch
the original just yet.

Not a movie, but I've been watching all the seasons of "That 70's Show"
Love it.
I was a teen in the late 70's so it reminds me of my childhood.
8.5/10
I think I would fuck Midge.
Not sure why.

Guardians of the Galaxy.
7.5/10. It held my attention but didn't come close to the hype it was getting. Funny in parts, but overall, very silly and childish. Came off as "Star Trek Remake Lite". Wish they had done more with Thanos.

Who Is Harry Nilsson (And Why Is Everybody Talkin' About Him)?
8/10. Cool documentary about the very talented and underrated musician. Great voice, great songs, interesting stories about him and John Lennon, and endearing stories about his life. I always loved The Point but this familiarized me with some of his other songs, as well.

Game of Death - how in the hell was this made? What could be the worst, most egregious cash grab movie ever. Rudimentary laughable graphics, cut and pasting Bruce Lee's head on a stunt double at ridiculous angles, badly dubbed dialogue, even for the Anglos. Total piece of shit. And for a billion Chinese on the planet, they couldn't find one that actually could pass for Lee? Poor Hugh Obrien must have been super hard up for cash. And to hell with Bob Wall and Danny Inosanto for acting in this crap.
0/10 overall
Actual Bruce fighting on three levels scene for 15 minutes - 8/10

The A-Team. 5/5
I almost think this movie deserves a thread of its own. Why they have not greenlit a sequel is way beyond me. I know it wasn't exactly a box office smash but the nostalgia of the film mixed with a modern feel is brilliant.
The casting of the film is pure genius.
Anyone else on board with this? One of my favorite movies of the last 10 years.

Yep, the A-team was great. Lots of humor mixed with all the good stuff from the classic series but handled with a lot of respect. Great cast as well. Liam Neeson can do no wrong.

Nymphomaniac 1 and 2
6/10
Saw that these were on Netflix and watched them the other day. If you are a fan of Lars von Trier you may like this more than I did. Some graphic sex and graphic s and m. All the actors were fine in it. The story was lacking IMO and nobody in the movie was relatable.

Midnight Cowboy. 8/10. Not bad for being a 45 year old movie. Great performances by Dustin Hoffman and young John Voight. The part where Hoffman lights his cigarette off the car was brilliant.

Superman (1978): 9
I actually like the purity of the dated special effects. There wasn't much of a story, but I hardly noticed when I watched.

Breakfast at Tiffany's. 5/10 Yeah, I know it's blaphemous to hate on this film, but I could only sit through half of it. Especially when Mickey Rooney's dreadful imitation of a Japanese neighbor graces the screen. Holeeeee crap, how did that happen?
A better Audrey film would be Wait Until Dark. Simply perfect.

I thought I was the only one who hated that movie. It's too long, boring and what the fuck is it about? It just wanders aimlessly.

Magic in The Moonlight
(Emma Stone & Colin Firth)
8/10
Another terrific Woody Allen movie. Was never a fan of his but lately I've made an effort to give his films a chance.
Last year it was Blue Jasmine(great performances by so many in the film).
Emma Stone was perfectly cast and Colin Firth once again was terrific.
