Finally saw Sin City 2 and I gotta say I loved it very much. It's a very respectable sequal.

The black and white video with the odd color here and there is simply stunning and it worked very well in 3D (which I usually find to dark but that's obviously not problem here).

The story is decent as well. It really helps to have such an A-list cast all around.

Eva Green is an amazing woman. Those eyes...

I've never seen Christopher Lee as Dracula, so I don't know how good he was in the role.


But I still say Lugosi's the best. You people can suck it.

Lee's Dracula movies should be right up your alley. They are at a minimum 42 years old.

Oh and Gary Oldman > Lugosi

I'll have to watch those then.


I could never get into the 90's Dracula. Lugosi never turned into a whiny, lovesick puppy dog.

CADILLAC RECORDS. Yeah I really liked this one. About Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Chuck Berry and Etta James. Great old songs and the acting was really good. Except I can't stand the way Adrian Brody whispers his lines--in EVERY movie he's in. 10/10

Rise: Blood Hunter (2007) - 4/10. "Vampire thriller" sounds terrible, and it kind of is. Carla Gugino made me do it.

Effectively creepy. I love how Liam Neeson is essentially Charles Bronson these days.

Riff Tracks: Karate Kid III: 8/10
I always thought KKIII was funny enough on its own (Terry Silver kicks ass, and is a personal hero of mine), but the Riff Track guys do a 'purrrrrfect' job riffing away on this one.
Out of the three Riff Tracks I own, I'd rank this second behind Cocktail, which I would give a 9.

This movie had potential. The first half was really good...for a Kevin Smith movie. This is basically his take on a human centipede type movie. Michael Parks was great. Then a character shows up half way through and the tone of the movie completely changes for the worse. What a waste.

Haley Joel Osment is in the movie. I don't know why, but he is starting to look like Philip Seymour Hoffman to me. The chick in the movie is really hot, Genesis Rodriguez, so that added a point...
