Midnight in Paris - 7/10

Light comedy directed by Woody Allen with, Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams, Kathy Bates....Not sure if anyone else would like it, one of Woody's better pictures in a long time.

I love That Touch of Mink. I love just about everything with Cary Grant-he was such a great actor.

Speaking of Cary Grant, I just watch Monkey Business with Ginger Rogers and Marilyn Monroe the other day.

7/10
Good fight scenes on the ice. A lot of blood, cuts and teeth flying as a result of punching.

Dirty Mary Crazy Larry - 7.5/10

Vic Morrow is drunk and great as a cop, and Peter Fonda and the other guy are serviceable "criminals." The chick has some awful British teeth and is a terrible actress but somehow has her charms. Awesome car chases and stunts, especially the helicopter flying.

Dillinger (1973) - 8/10. This movie ruled, and had a surprisingly awesome cast for a B-movie from the 70s. Harry Dean Stanton, The Big Toe guy from Stripes, Richard Dreyfuss, Ray Krebs from Dallas, a hot as balls Michelle Phillips, Cloris Fucking Leachman as the Woman in Red, and some other semi-recognizable character actors. I thought this movie was really entertaining from start to finish. Lots of Peckinpah-ish Violence.

This has what it's come to for sure...Netflix streaming's offerings have gotten so meager that it's pretty much all exploitation movies for me now.

Last Play at Shea. 11/10. How did it take me this long to find this documentary??? The juxtaposition of Billy Joel's career/life to the history of Shea Stadium and the New York Mets was a stroke of genius. Keep in mind, I don't even follow MLB much less the Mets but the story had me glued for a couple of hours. If you like rock and sports this is a can't miss.

This was way better than I thought it would be. Not a romantic comedy as much as a story about life.

Hemingway and Gellhorn. 8/10
Good period piece.
Nicole Kidman is hot again (how'd this happen, lol????)
Pretty accurate as far as I can recall about their lives.
It's an HBO movie, so of course it was good.

Prometheus (in 3D) - 9/10 Highest rating I have given to a film in ages, but I really enjoyed it, everything was awesome. I think I will either see this again or buy it on Blueray. Highly recommended if you like suspense, sc-fi, or horror films. Just awesome.
