Scooby-Doo meets Kiss - Some amusing stuff only a Kiss fan boy would get. The movie itself was a pile of shit, but Kiss was in it, so that was expected. 3/10.

Tons of cool action, tons of bone-breaking, bloody carnage. On par with the first one. I smell franchise!

WAY better than the first movie in the trilogy. I loved it- my husband suffered through it and said, "it was OK."

Biopic about the guy that snaked McDonald's from the guys that started it and how he turned it into the mega business that it is today. This was really well done, and any movie with Michael Keaton and Nick Offerman in the same thing is bound to have some merit.

Rock the Kasbah (2015) - 8/10:
This movie has such a bad reputation I have to assume it's somehow motivated by political ignorance, because it's awesome. Bill Murray at his best, playing a washed-up tour manager (a bit reminiscent of his Hunter Thompson portrayal) who wants to take a chance with some retarded starlet (Zooey Deschanel, thankfully not long in the movie) by sending her to Afghanistan, where everything goes to shit. Side roles by Kate Hudson, Bruce Willis and Danny McBride, all great. I guess this qualifies as a black comedy or something, although it does also touch on politics in a subtle way. And Leem Lubany is hot in it.
About Elly (2009) - 7/10:
Iranian movie by Asghar Farhadi, starring Golshifteh Farahani, who's always awesome. This one's about a weekend family trip to the ocean, where a guest drowns and everything turns to shit. A bit melodramatic maybe, but otherwise a smart, well-acted film with pretty disheartening social commentary on Iranian society regarding the status of women and the institution of marriage.
Lovelace (2013) - 6/10:
Not bad, but pretty bad compared to Wonderland or Boogie Nights for instance. Amanda Seyfried isn't bad, but I'm not really feeling her as Linda, she's playing it a bit over the top on behalf of the disputed biography's account, like super innocent, cute school girl. You forget immediately this is supposed to be a biopic.
Alive (1993) - 7/10:
Plane crash movies are usually unbearable, but this one's actually good. Ethan Hawke as part of a sports team crashing in the Andes and turning into cannibals.

Salmon Fishing in the Yemen (2011) - 4/10:
Disappointing. It's basically a romcom with Ewan McGregor and Emily Blunt. Yemen is merely the backdrop and doesn't really matter, politically or otherwise. At least it's not racist.
Triage (2009) - 7/10:
About the work of two photojournalists specializing on the Kurdish conflict. Colin Farrell is pretty good and from all I know from friends in the same line of work it's very realistic. Brutal twist I didn't see coming. Then again, I'm retarded when it comes to movies.
Young Love (2001) - 5/10:
Finnish movie about some kid trying to get with an older girl who wants to become a model. The movie itself is pretty awful, but Saija Lentonen is hot as fuck and goes full frontal several times.
The Family Fang (2015) - 7/10:
Nicole Kidman and Jason Bateman as the kids of an artist couple that disappears. The whole movie is basically them reminiscing about how their parents fucked them up with their fart-sniffing performance bullshit. Christopher Walken rocks as the delusional ivory tower artist.
