Get Him To The Greek. 7.5 out of 10. Pretty funny in some parts, but not really that original. Felt like I was just watching Funny People, or Almost Famous again. Russell Brand is great though.

The biggest disappointment in movie history. The trailer looked great.

That ending SUCKED. Nothing like a chick flick in disguise.

The Social Network 9/10
I didn't want to see it, figured it'd be pretty dumb... but it ended up being really good. I love Justin Timberlake in movies, but I can't really stand his music half the time. The kid from Superbad was great, too.

i'll be generous and give it a 4. it just didn't have the same...i don't know, bleak feeling to it. i don't know why Hollywood thinks they have to remake every perfectly good foreign film. 99% of the time the remakes suck ass.

"The Expendables" blew, no idea why I watched it. I wish there had been five hundred more washed-up steroid freak actors from the 80s running through some random scene for no good reason whatsoever.

The Lincoln Lawyer: 7/10.

I really enjoyed this one, good legal thriller with great acting all around.
It almost made me completely forget about that horrible piece of shit movie Battle Los Angeles that I saw last weekend, a movie two people were taking their kids to see walking in front of me heading into the theater (I remember feeling bad for what they were about to endure).

Giant - James Dean, Rock Hudson, Elizabeth Taylor

Very long, but James Dean puts on an excellent performance. Not quite a classic, and film students would have a field day picking out weird instances or odd directorial choices, cinematography, etc. Still, it's worth a viewing, most def.

I wasn't sure if I would even like this movie, but I thought it was excellent and really enjoyed it. Tons of funny references to other movies and just some good humor in general. There was also a decent story line behind it, which I usually find lacking in many movies with a comedic element.

Social Network 9/10 - Like most have said, it's a great movie. Well done by everyone.

The Entity 6/10 - Someone mentioned this in another thread and I streamed it on Netflix. Pretty campy, but what can you expect from an early 80's movie. I find it funny that the lead gal is the same gal from Hoosiers!

Inside Deep Throat 7/10 - Again, another you can stream on Netflix. OK documentary about Deep Throat. I've never seen DT, but the story behind it is pretty interesting. Would have been better if they would have talked more about the mob getting involved.

"Tom Yum Goong" ("The Protector") - 7/10.

Not a fan of martial art action flicks at all, but this one was pretty cool. No big plot, no stupid one-liners, no humor, no explosions, just brutal, creative thai boxing throughout, filmed in a way that you can actually see what's going on.

If you're into that kind of shit, you should definitely check out Tony Jaa. I'm guessing his other movies won't be family oriented comedy either.

Public Enemies w/Depp and Bale. Was better than I expected, but doesn't rate up there with another Depp gangster movie, Donnie Brasco. 7/10.
