CNN) — In the past 25 years, Queen Elizabeth II has marked a Golden and Diamond Jubilee, visited multiple continents, celebrated the weddings of her grandchildren and the birth of multiple great-grandchildren, and met numerous world leaders.

But, according to President Donald Trump, Her Majesty has never had so much fun as she did during his visit last week.

"I have such a great relationship, and we were laughing and having fun. And her people said she hasn't had so much fun in 25 years. Then I got criticized for it because they said we were having too much fun," Trump told Fox News' "Fox and Friends" during a phone interview Friday.

The 93-year-old monarch hosted the US President and first lady Melania Trump for an official State Visit filled with pomp and circumstance last week, including dinner at Buckingham Palace.

A Buckingham Palace spokesperson said Trump's comments are "not something we would comment on."
Brief press coverage of the visit showed a formal and warm, if largely sedate, relationship between the notoriously stoic Queen and the bombastic President.

In a Fox News interview from Normandy just after the trip to London, Trump called the Queen an "incredible lady."

It's basically sports now. Fox News, Trump, and all the guys in the Trump machine noticed people who are so blindly loyal that they're willing to paint their bellies at football games and punch people in the face. That's who they attract--they just took all that energy and converted it into "Durrrrrrrrr lock her up." You got people who were never politically savvy before--maybe wanted lower taxes and weren't crazy about darkies--and made them believe they were as smart as the "experts" on television. And when the "experts" are Rick Santorum, they're not too far off base.

Throw into the mix the conspiracy market exploding with YouTube and social media and that's where you get guys like Don't Damn Me and NeverSurrender saying stuff like "I was never interested in politics before but all of a sudden people were saying things that made a lot of sense." They were always angry and stupid, but now they had targets: Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, George Soros, all immigrants, most people of color, etc.

Two of my family members are currently in a simmering feud because the male family member gets hostile when politics of any kind are discussed; this is a tactic to shield himself from hearing negative comments about Trump. However when he gets a beer or two in him, HE is the one who brings it up and of course the Trump-is-an-idiot shots start firing off. Last time this happened he had the (probably drunken) gall to claim he voted for Clinton in 2016. This is absolutely preposterous and she laughed in his face, prompting him to get mad and start making unwarranted personal insults toward her. He voted for Hillary about as much as he flew to the fucking moon. Everybody knows it, I don't know why he can't just own up to it.

It really is amazing how polarizing president fuckface is. I guarantee my family is not an outlier on this. Agree or disagree with his policies, one thing is certain: this administration is making people who used to get along just fine... HATE each other. It's absolutely disgusting.

I don't think I like any actors, musicians or sports figures who are shitty like Trump is. Certainly none who can be taken seriously due to their position in government. We expect certain things from rock stars and actors. We don't expect those things in the so-called "Leader of the Free World."

One of my biggest beefs with Lennyesque Neo-Liberalism is the holier-than-thou presumption of superiority that HuffPo Liberals wield with militant smugness. "I say, Republicans. Some day! Some day, you'll be sorry!" As if people are suddenly going to have some revelation and start proselytizing BuzzFeed and begging for forgiveness. This happens with exactly zero demographics en masse. President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign is cutting ties with some of its own pollsters after leaked internal polling showed the president trailing former Vice President Joe Biden in critical 2020 battleground states, according to a person close to the campaign.

The move comes after NBC News obtained new details from a March internal poll that found Trump trailing Biden in 11 key states.

The president denied the existence of any negative polling during comments last week in the Oval Office, saying his campaign has “great internal polling” and saying the numbers reported were from “fake polls.”
