The silliest part of the SOTU I've seen is how when Trump said "The state of our union is stronger than it's ever been before!" and all the sycophants stood up and applauded. I'm sure there were more lies in the address than you can count but that one is such a demonstrable load of bullshit. You can point to previous addresses where they say the same thing but it has never been so obviously a false statement as it is in this particular moment. Even those who support Trump understand it's complete nonsense, and those people come pretty close to understanding nothing. Short of an all out civil war, I don't think it's possible for "our union" to be any weaker than it is right now.

We are so far removed from honesty and accurate perception of the world around us and Trump obviously will do anything he can to either keep it that way or make it worse.
