Like I've said before, we should all hope and pray Trump gets the nomination. He's a loser to the bone and that ain't about to change any time soon. With Desantis there's the "Go for what's behind door number 2" aspect in play which was the tipping point for Donnie Dickweed to get in last time. There were enough voters who were fine with rolling the dice, and the more unknown the choice was, the more they were convinced it would miraculously work out great.

How about this? Trump brings on Keri Lake as his running mate, grifts the fuck out of his supporters, and then backs out right before the primaries due to his health (or some other BS) and supports her 100%. He can still lie that he's leading all the poles, blah blah blah, and not lose while stating that she's Queen of MAGAGA. Could be his plan all along thinking that announcing his candidacy would avoid prosecution.
