I'm afraid to go read up on what was said last night. We're getting to a point where Trump is attempting to confuse these current issues. He'll double down on his endorsement of hate groups than walk it back in another speech. Didn't he just try to give another speech a couple of days ago where he denounced bigotry, the kind of denouncement he made but didn't want to last week? So it's back and forth, back and forth.

By the way, last night's needless rally was just another troubling example of him depleting that Secret Service detail funding. I hope the US government takes a hard stance on how Trump can handle his own security when the money for that runs out.

The latest survey released by Gallup this week pegged his approval rating at just 34 percent. That's tied for the lowest such figure to date for the 45th president. The pardon won't inspire as much outrage as it should because it just blends in with the shitshow parade but this shows that our president has no compunction about flagrantly trampling on the rule of law. He will do this as often as possible now, particularly in the Russian collusion case, you can bet your ass.
