the problem with Trump is he does not appreciate how well he has it.

He despises Obama with the heat of a thousand suns and is actively turning back Obama's legacy, but I do think he really thinks the WH is a dump. He said, when he won and said he wanted to pretty much stay in NYC, that the WH is a step down.

Because it doesn't look like Liberace took a gold plated dump over the whole place. Trump would prefer the Saudi palaces, or the image from that "Opulence, I has it" commercial.

He is completely uncurious about anything that doesn't involve him and he certainly doesn't appreciate or even understand the incredible history and symbolism of the White House. Or the sacred duty and privilege it involves.

Of course he could move his fat hog ass out of there anytime.

As for Chelsea, why not step to defend the WH staff? She would know.

Maybe I meant subliminal and not winking. Being from real estate I guarantee you there's a little grain of a notion in that fucked up brain of his about how black residences are automatically lower in value.

This is Trump we're talking about here. If there's an ass-backwards way of perceiving something, that's how he's going to perceive it.

The bad polling news keeps coming for President Donald Trump, and it seems to be accelerating. On Wednesday he reached his lowest approval rating on Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight tracker of major polls for the second day in a row — 37 percent — while also hitting his highest-yet disapproval rating of 57.5 percent.

That's a net approval of minus-20.5 percent, the worst even for a president in the modern polling era, and it's a noticeable free fall just in the past 24 hours. Trump's 37.8 percent approval and 56.7 percent disapproval on Tuesday were also his worst yet.

The FiveThirtyEight tracker aggregates several polls and weights them according to such factors as quality, sample size, and how recent they are. Trump’s previous lowest approval rating was 38 percent on June 9, and his disapproval rating has been climbing to new highs each of the past six days.

Trump on Wednesday likewise reached his lowest approval to date on another polling aggregator, the RealClearPolitics tracker. His 38.2 percent approval was a 1 percentage point drop in the last day.

Trump's approval ratings have been falling across the board in recent polls.

You're probably right. I just find his appalling taste so over the top (Saudi princes visit and tell him to "tone it down dude!") that I can honestly see him thinking that the White would be a dump according to his "tastes". The fact that the Obamas slept in the same bedrooms must drive him nuts.

Trump's comment about the White House should ideally disgust all Americans, and not just because on a basic level the housing most Americans live in is obviously far less spacious and probably less well-tailored. It speaks not only to Trump's elitism and lack of taste (his 100% gold penthouse should be an indication that this fathead doesn't have any), but I think is also just disrespectful to the institution of the presidency. To insult the White House is just disrespectful of the presidency, and that's just something that should not be okay with people.

It's interesting that he used the word "dump" though, as half the country sent some human garbage there.

Even with his overall poll numbers plummeting, his approval numbers approach 80% in sections of his base states. So no matter the chaos or lies, as long as the hatred for fags and foreigners continues, nothing really matters to "real Americans."
