Bill would have fixed that again if Hillary won. We'd have pot too.

And yet "BUILD THAT WALL!!!" was one of the reasons he got voted in. Anyone think there'll be some buyer's remorse from the Trumptards now?

No. "In Trump We Trust" is now nothing more than an anti-liberal stance. It really doesn't matter to those people what he does or doesn't do. Trump can't fuck it up bad enough for the idiots to drop him because he's the only egg in that basket. Not building the wall is FAR less of a problem to them than actually cooperating with people like Schumer and Pelosi. But even that rolls off pretty easy.

They know intelligent people hate him. That's all they require from him.

No. Have you met a Trumptard? It's not about what's right, it's about winning the Electoral College. We have/had two here.

A vertically-challenged, millionaire, chaffeur, and a racist, prehistoric, cocksucker. Do you think either of them are filled with regret?

Sadly, this is true. How much longer until 2020?

Trump just called Bernie Sanders' proposed single-payer healthcare plan "a curse on the US." A chilling and damning choice of words to be using about something that would help a *lot* of Americans. But it's not a big stretch to assume he and Republicans are going to want to perpetuate the model by which insurance companies and Big Pharma rake in profits.

It's slowly starting to happen. Check out the twitter feeds of Ann Coulter, Joe Walsh, James Woods, and even the big giant head himself, Sean Hannity.

Wait, so Trump says the wall is already being built? "In the form of new renovation of old and existing fences and walls..." So now Trump is trying to convince people the project has already physically commenced?

Can someone maybe go to the location where this is happening like the dude who took video outside of Joel Osteen's megachurch? :D

The golfing tweet from this morning is disgusting. Whatever Hillary's said about Trump, she's not, to my knowledge, alluded to violence against him. It's completely inappropriate behavior for a president, but he's not gonna stop. Despite what Republicans thought, or still think, he can't be tamed.

Make no mistake, that was just a show for the base. Those folks will applaud him and he'll get his ego fed. It's win-win for him, but only in that bubble. Outside the bubble, the view of things like this is very different.

No one is going to care that he re-tweeted this. We live in a time where a president being boorish and uncouth about his former opponent is the norm.
Violence has been a pretty sturdy staple of his agenda, so just another drop in the bucket, really.

I don't know, a lot of people did seem to care. I've heard/seen plenty of horrified reactions. But you're right that this is the new norm and we shouldn't be surprised.

By the way, can we just talk about Spicer at the Emmys last night? Seems like the wrong move/tone having him there ham it up for laughs considering he was an enabler of Trump's lies. It also kind of undermined Melissa McCarthy's awesome satirical portrayal of him.

ETA: Spicer was rewarded last week with a fellowship at Harvard University. So the normalization of Spicer will continue.

SHIP OF FOOLS
http://www.stonekettle.com/2017/09/ship ... #pq=gDm8Mx
They actually believed Donald Trump – Donald Trump of all people – could somehow bring them some vague undefined victory in the Middle East. That he would somehow secure 10,000 miles of porous American borders and make a profit doing it. That he would give them great high-paying jobs complete with healthcare that didn’t require any effort or education or initiative on their part whatsoever while at the same time sticking it to everybody they considered lazy and unworthy and unfit to be an American. And somehow – somehow – he would cut taxes and reduce the size of government while at the very same time increasing spending by untold billions on some mightily “restored” military and he was going to eliminate the national debt through some magical new trade deal that he would personally work out with the rest of the world.

Trump retweeting a Nazi's gif of Hillary getting whacked with a golf ball is like his "Free Bird." Even the hat-burners are like "There he is. There's the Trump I fell in love with."

Without Hillary and Obama, the guy has NOTHING.
