It was always such a laughable idea that it's hard to draw a hard line between it being an idiot's pipe dream and him becoming a legit candidate (this was back when he was a democrat BTW). They have known this for over a year. Trump has said that the "witch hunt" as he calls it was alluding to the collusion theory and he has maintained his innocence. The Russians were trying to cause chaos and held rallies for and against Trump so its not like they were working with him. Didn't you read these indictments? What is actually scary is the fact that our government might have been trying to help Hillary get elected.
