i casually know tommy lee's first wife. she told me she was one and she did put a spell on someone but wouldn't tell me who it was.

I have friends that dabble. They don't discuss it with me because they're worried I'll laugh at them. But just last weekend we took my friend to the coast for her birthday and she insisted on having a bonfire. She brought along a little cloth bag of herbs and stuff that she said was for happiness and prosperity and burned it in the fire. She had clearly put a lot of thought into it. I guess the beach setting was supposed to yield better results then if she just tossed it onto her bbq at home. She's had a difficult year and that really seemed to cheer her up so, good. Of course I don't think burning that bag is going to do anything except mentally lifting her spirits.

The wife's a Wiccan, sort of. Wicca itself only dates back to the 1950s, although they claim it's descended from older practices. Don't believe a word of it myself, but doing her daily rituals keeps her happy.

No, but my brother ran into a group of ‘em at one of the state parks one summer as an intern ranger on the lake working for the Army Corps of Engineers. They didn’t cast a spell on him, but he told them they had to leave for whatever reason.
