The video of the entire Floyd incident is now required viewing in our yearly use of force training. Those cops ignored so many blatantly obvious signs and completely disregarded so many simple fucking tenets of proper policing. It doesn't matter if Floyd was high. It doesn't matter if he was resisting. Those pieces of shit straight up murdered the dude. Fuck Chauvin and fuck the rest of them. 100000% the poster children for people who should never have been cops in the first place. I'm not at all happy that he was stabbed in prison, and those CO's in there should never have let it happen, but it still couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

Also, it happened like two weeks ago and is just now getting out into the public. Just imagine the shit that happens in prison that doesn't ever see the light of day. Business as usual, really.

that has nothing to do with a knee on his neck. might have been from covid. maybe the drugs in his system.
that makes chauvin a scapegoat to avoid a rodney king repeat.

From the second those cops started interacting with Floyd, his breathing was strained. Plain as day in the video. He'd just had the 'Rona, had drugs in his system that could have had his heartrate elevated, and was showing absolutely textbook signs of claustrophobia. Every single sign was completely ignored.

As TravisBicklesMohawk said, the dude passed a fake bill. That's all. He was retrained. He wasn't trying to flee. Fuck is he going to go in cuffs? There was absolutely no reason whatsoever that those cops couldn't have given Floyd a second to get his breath and acclimate to the situation. Instead, they spent every second they could forcing a petty misdemeanor into the squad vehicle, never once taking into account sign after sign of his duress. It doesn't matter if Floyd was high. Totally irrelevant to what police are trained to do. I've had much of the same training and deal with high motherfuckers every day, often after they've just assaulted me. These dudes should never had been cops and fuck every one of them.
