I'm not sure that is considered overrated as opposed to simply fkn annoying. I hate morning people. I get up at 6 am for work and prefer not to speak for a couple of hours. My wife is ALWAYS SINGING something while getting ready for work, and it bugs the shit out of me, but I know what battles to pick. People who start right in at work before I even get to my office deserve to be punched. I need to ease into the morning, or I'm stressed out and pissed the rest of the day.

My BFF and her daughter moved to Texas a few years ago.
My daughter and I met them for a New Orleans vacation in 2021, and both of them were y'all this and y'all that, the whole time. They had been in TX for about 5 minutes at that point.
I speak to them on the phone regularly, neither one of the say "y'all" ever.
They are both white, SoCal born and raised.
When I visit them in TX, there is none of that, no Southern accent at all.

Nothing wrong with that. I just don't get Crashdiet, which is probably the biggest of the Swedish cosplay bands. To me, they look stupid, they sound fake, and everything about them just goes right over my head. But people absolutely love them.

I have seen Sebastian 5 times over the years! Ton of funny bits. The older stuff is better. The last show was kind of so so. I just love all the Italian stuff because I can relate to that with my family. I will see him again in November.

Dice, as in Andrew Clay. I never thought the guy was remotely funny. He was a foul mouthed third generation ripoff/caricature of a 50's greaser by way of Arthur Fonzarelli and Danny Zuko. I didn't get it when I was 17 and I don't get it now when guys like Bill Burr give him so much love. Everything I've ever seen him screams of hack. He's not just unfunny he seems like he's insufferable. I did see him get his head bashed in on a TV show once (I won't say which one to avoid spoilers) and I damn near jumped up and cheered.

Agreed here. HCSS don't have any songs that stand out. Crashdiet are better live and have a few good songs, but their bass player is a nationalist politician (SD)

Sports. I don't judge anyone for being sports fan, except for a couple people I know who never shut the fuck up about their favorite teams and assume I'm as into them as they are, but overall I just don't see the appeal of being a sports fan at all.

I get the appeal of sports but I DON'T get the tribalism. "We" did this last weekend, "you" suck (said to a follower of another team), etc. You’re not on the field / track / court / whatever. You just watched some other people who were. Or maybe you didn't even watch, just saw the result later.

It's just a game. The same people and teams play each other year in, year out. Just enjoy their skills. Music fans mostly grow out of the tribal mindset once they pass puberty and enjoy different bands and genres. (Kisstards are one obvious exception). With sports teams, somehow it's a requirement that for your entire life you have to stay a fan only of the team that you picked when you were 7, and hate and disparage every other team.

Live everyone else here, I’m pushing 50, and I’ve never watch a football, basketball, or any other sports game in my life.
Sports looks to me like shit I did when I was a little kid, but I grew up.
Have no desire to watch grown men play those same kids games.
