Another day, another gaffe. He criticized Obama for not cutting govt spending in the 60 minutes interview. However, he criticized Obama for cutting govt spending at the 2012 convention.

On 60 Minutes, he said Obama "believed in stimulus" meaning that govt spending can create jobs. But he also argued Obama was going to kill jobs by cutting govt spending during his address to the 2012 GOP convention.

Gov. Mitt Romney: The president's vision is one of a larger and larger government with trillion dollar deficits that promises everything to everyone. That's the course that he has laid out. His policy for the economy is more stimulus, more government spending. My course is very different than that.

His trillion dollar cuts to our military will eliminate hundreds of thousands of jobs and also put our security at greater risk. His $716 billion cut to Medicare to finance Obamacare will hurt today's seniors and depress innovation in jobs and medicines.

Why not in the first year, if you’re elected — why not in 2013, go all the way and propose the kind of budget with spending restraints, that you’d like to see after four years in office? Why not do it more quickly?

Romney: Well because, if you take a trillion dollars for instance, out of the first year of the federal budget, that would shrink GDP over 5%. That is by definition throwing us into recession or depression. So I’m not going to do that, of course.

Where I live there was a news story about a kid who could not get a cast removed because the emergency room set his leg but was not required by law to provide any followup visit. His mom wound up cutting off the cast.

Ive seen it more times than I can count.

You know why they don't remove it? It's considered "bad form" to remove a cast another doctor has put on. Do you believe that shit?

To be fair, ERs dont actually "set" broken bones, they just immobilize them until you can follow up with an ortho doc. Usually don't find those in the ER either, so you have tons of folks whose bones are "healing" at fucked up angles and creating more problems.

The use of the ER as a last ditch form of primary care is HUGE piece of what is wrong with modern health care. My fucking God, Romney is an ill-informed fucking liability.

Well, he didn't always feel that way. Just like every other opinion he's attached himself to, it changes fairly frequently:

"When they show up at the hospital, they get care. They get free care paid for by you and me. If that's not a form of socialism, I don't know what is," he said at the time. If people can afford to buy insurance ... or if they can pay their own way, then they either buy that insurance or pay their own way, but they no longer look to government to hand out free care. And that, in my opinion, is ultimate conservativism."

Here's another example of Romney's ignorance. In May 2012 at the 47% fund raiser, he claimed the federal reserve was buying 3/4 of the govt debt and that as soon as the Fed stopped buying treasuries, interest rates would "have to go up."

Fact is the Fed has reduced their holdings of treasuries this past year and the interest rates on govt bonds have fallen.

From Sept 7, 2011 to Sept 7, 2012, the federal reserve reduced the amount of federal debt they held by 9.5 billion. The federal debt held by the public increased by 1.2 trillion during that time. 30 year bond interest rate fell from 3.26% to 2.81%.

So the "finance wizard" is wrong about everything and these are very easily verified facts. Took two minutes to check it on the internet just to prove he's a dumb ass. You would think he would take 2 minutes to look it up himself before trying to figure out how to run the country.

It is not UNEDUCATED asshats using the ER for primary care, it is UNINSURED asshats using the ER for primary care that is one of the problems.

I watched the 60 minutes special last night and was so happy the 60 minutes interviewer(who's name escapes me) continued to call Romney on his B.S. and did all he could to not allow Romney to give answers that were skirting around the original question.

Romney does not have a plan.
He is not qualified to "lead this country" for the next 4 or 8 years.
