When is someone finally going to put Obamas balls 2 the fire

Post by itwalksboyfriend »

over this Obamacare business?

I don't know about any of you, but my premium just jumped AGAIN. It's literally doubled in two years. And I'm somebody that hardly ever goes to the doctor and rarely even get sick.

And it's not just me, but every single person I know.

There is NOTHING affordable about the Obamacare act.

I never thought I would ever say this, but I hope and pray Republicans "STAND THEIR GROUND" on Obamacare and dig their heels in to dissolve it. I would stand behind them 110%.

Why isn't the collective public not screaming about their premiums rising?

The public's silence is deafening. All the warning signs are flashing in front of people's faces and practically slapping them - look at Congress and their staffers who shat their pants when they saw their Obamacare premium and realized THEY couldn't afford it.

What does this tell you when even members of congress and their staffers can't afford it?

Why no outcry?

People are waiting until October 1, 2013 to see if they can get a cheaper policy via the exchanges.

What is the Health Insurance Marketplace?
https://www.healthcare.gov/what-is-the- ... rketplace/

The Marketplace is a new way to find health coverage that fits your budget and meets your needs. With one application, you can see all your options and enroll.

What you'll learn when you apply in the Health Insurance Marketplace

When you use the Health Insurance Marketplace, you'll fill out an application and see all of the health plans available in your area. You'll find out if you can get lower costs on your monthly premiums for private insurance plans. You'll learn if you qualify for lower out-of-pocket costs.

The Marketplace will also tell you if you qualify for free or low-cost coverage available through Medicaid or the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

The Health Insurance Marketplace is sometimes known as the health insurance "exchange."

Apply online, by mail, or in-person

You can apply for Marketplace coverage three ways: online, by mail, or in-person with the help of a Navigator or other qualified helper. Telephone help and online chat will be available 24/7 to help you complete your application.

Open enrollment starts October 1, 2013. Plans and prices will be available then. Coverage starts as soon as January 1, 2014.

Compare options in the Health Insurance Marketplace

nsurance plans in the Marketplace are offered by private companies, and they cover the same core set of benefits called essential health benefits. No plan can turn you away or charge you more because you have an illness or medical condition. They must cover treatments for these conditions. Plans can't charge women more than men for the same plan.

Learn about the Marketplace in your state

While all insurance plans are offered by private companies, the Marketplace is run by either your state or the federal government. Find out if your state is operating the Marketplace by using the menu at the bottom of this page. If your state runs the Marketplace, you'll get health coverage through your state’s website, not this one.

The Marketplace simplifies getting health coverage

The Marketplace simplifies your search for health coverage by gathering the options available in your area in one place. You can compare plans based on price, benefits, quality, and other features important to you before you make a choice.

In the Marketplace information about prices and benefits will be written in simple language. You get a clear picture of what premiums you'd pay and what benefits and protections you'd get before you enroll. Compare plans based on what's important to you, and choose the combination of price and coverage that fits your needs and budget.

"We have to pass it to find out what is in it"... The fact that the bitch wasn't taken out back and shot after uttering those words tells me the US is probably dead already.

The Chosen One got it done. Great fucking job gang. What we have now is a clusterfuck of unprecedented proportions.

the tragedy is that there are some great ideas in the affordable healthcare act, but they are lost in the pork and payouts to the govt, union and corporate goons that had to be placated to get this abortion of a bill passed.

The current Republican party has one last chance to be relevant. They need to cowboy up, shiut down the govt and defund this piece of shit and offer a viable alternative. Keep the state portals, that makes sense. Let insurers compete across state lines. Institute a policy that mandates pre-existing conditions be covered at a gradual buy in rate and you have a REAL solution that doesn't bankrupt us or socialize 20% of the GDP.

I really hope they fucking do it. Doubt They have the balls.

You're an imbecile if you think the Affordable Care Act is so destructive that the entire federal govt needs to shut down to stop it.
tylamonroe wrote:Let insurers compete across state lines.
LMFAO @ states having no say over the quality of health insurance their citizens can have. Can't believe how dumb you are and how easily duped you are by corporate propaganda. The purpose of allowing health insurance to sell over state lines is so that health insurance companies will be able to locate in the least regulated state and sell jump policies to dumb asses like you. Then when your junk policy fails to cover your injury and your broke inbred ass can't pay the bill, your health care costs are dumped on the other residents of your state.

The general public is ignorant and apathetic. They deserve whatever they get. Until they wake up, it is up to thinking Americans like myself and a handful of others to try to reverse the damage Obama is doing not only to our healthcare system, but to our country in general.

Wake up, America. It's time to take our country back.

At least I understand basic punctuation and grammar. If you are still considering teaching English as a second language in Asia, I would highly suggest that you brush up on English as your first language, sparky.

Because your English is about as good as this guy's:

Hey, look, an article. No mention of Obamacare. Imagine that.
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-500395_162- ... alth-plan/

IBM plans to move many retired workers off its health plan and give them money to buy coverage on a health-insurance exchange. The move is part of a corporate trend away from providing traditional retiree health benefits as costs rise.

The company says it acted after projections showed that costs under its current plan for Medicare-eligible retirees will triple by 2020 and that the increases would be paid by retirees through premiums and out-of-pocket costs.

An IBM spokesman said Saturday that the change will affect about 110,000 retirees who are eligible for Medicare.

Under the change, IBM will make annual contributions to health-retirement accounts. Retirees would use the money to buy Medicare Advantage or supplemental Medigap policies through a private Medicare exchange.

The change affects medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage.

The company is meeting with retirees around the country to explain the change. About 1,300 retirees attended the first one this week in San Jose, Calif. The next is planned for Monday in Austin, Texas.

IBM acknowledged that "some retirees may be skeptical" about the changes. But it said the health exchange, Extend Health, will offer benefits not now available under IBM's group plans and possibly at lower cost to retirees.

Spokesman Douglas Shelton said IBM capped health subsidies to retirees in the 1990s, and so higher costs would mostly lead to higher premiums and out-of-pocket costs for retirees.

Other large employers are also moving away from retiree health benefits. American Airlines parent AMR Corp., for example, is seeking approval for the change from a federal bankruptcy court judge.

A Kaiser Family Foundation report issued last month found that among companies with at least 200 workers, 28 percent that provide health benefits also offer retiree coverage.

The study's authors said few large employers have turned over benefits for workers or retirees to private exchanges like Extend Health. But they said 29 percent of companies with at least 5,000 workers are considering it.

The authors said there could be "a significant change in the way that employers approach health benefits and the way employees get coverage, with employers playing a less active role."

Very true. They yell racist, ridicule and blame Bush. Very true.

I mean that's easier than talking about the stuff he has done that is good for America. Which is nothing of course.

At least you couldn't say I was wrong.

How far back are we going to take our country? Slavery? Repeal woman's suffrage? Only white landowners can vote? Bread lines and another Great Depression? Mass slaughtering of Native Americans? Vigilante justice and mob lynchings? Writing the constitution during the day and raping your slave(s) at night? How far back is far enough when we "take our country back"?

It's a legitimate question. I for one, wish they would take taxation back to the 1950's.

I am wondering when someone is going to start holding businesses balls to the fire for dropping health coverage. Every company I have ever worked for has crowed about their benefits being part of your compensation, yet I am not hearing anything about these companies dropping coverage and giving raises in lieu of benefits.
Lies are the words that I use when you look up hopefully

They want all that and then they want to stone you for being the victim of rape, if one is an engaged female virgin and the rape occurs in a city (Deuteronomy 22:23-27).
