Those nails are NOT attractive. And her eyebrows are freakish looking. Haven't watched the video yet. I'm not sure if I should.

Well, if you have insomnia, watching that video will cure it. Plus you get to see Trent playing a something or another harp. It has clothspins on the strings. IDKY. The comments are funny and worth a chuckle; in regards to the instrument Rob is "playing":

"Also... volume fader isn't an instrument. Just saying."

would any of you care to refresh my memory on the few crazy NIN fangirls? I remember seeing pics of this girl everywhere but I can not think of her name. She had blonde hair and followed the band everywhere they went.

There is also PeedroPaula and Juniperus who stalk people on Twitter and concocted that @youareonourlist account along with other troll accounts. Ninjunkie13 feels the need to police the comments sections of Youtube videos for HTDA and defend Reznor. I thought Riot had moved on past NIN and was all about Harry Potter role playing games now.

Funniest thing about that article:
They used an old pic of Mariqueen and cropped Francis Ten out of it!

BTW remember the old Mariqueen that wore colors before TR tried to make her over as a Goth songstress?

I thought it was funny that they called her a rock star. A gross exaggeration that even Mariqueen's immediate family would have trouble hearing with a straight face.

finally got the nerve to watch the Ice Age video. Her singing wasn't awful, I'll admit, but I had a moment in the beginning where I thought "I hear banjos...paddle faster!" That clothes pin-stringy thing is supposed to be a HARP? Sounded like a damn banjo. And I don't get the video at all....maybe I was distracted by her eyebrows and lips. I also think she made a much better hipster fashionista than a morbid goth Morticia wannabe (and at least the real Morticia had nice eyebrows, damn it).

I think I will rate HTDA music on my own personal basis...would I or would I not put it on a relaxation tape to knock me out? So far I have only heard 3 songs.

The Spaces In Between: Maybe I would, minus the drum machine crap. God knows it's monotonous enough. However since I watched the video I'd have nightmares about trying to save all my designer Vera Wang shoes from a house fire. So, probably not.

Keep It Together: Absolutely NOT. Just the beginning of the song sounds like somebody is farting into a microphone...and putting it on loop.

Ice Age: Quite likely. Even though the harp/banjo/clothespin holder would evoke images of my family from the south stumbling around in a drunken stupor chasing goats and shit for nafarious purposes.

So is the full length LP supposed to drop this month or next? I forgot.

Lately Q has been posting "artistic" pics of herself on @HTDA and @mariqueen. I guess she is afraid if she posts in only one place no one will notice.

This last masterpiece was named: "purple". I really wish she would stop with the techno goth gimmick.

Dammit. I knew something bad was coming.....

New album release date is March 5th.
New video....

http://vimeo.com/56805766

and if this wasn't enough....

http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/ ... e-20130110

Trent Reznor has been named chief creative officer of the new music streaming service Daisy, created in collaboration with Dr. Dre's Beats Electronics. Digital music executive Ian Rogers, formerly of Topspin, has been appointed CEO of the new project.

Rockers Who Score Films

Reznor will help build Daisy into a streaming service that Beats CEO Jimmy Iovine said in a statement will "bring an emotional connection back to the act of music discovery." Daisy is still in development, so specifics are scarce, but it is intended to compete with other subscription services like Spotify when it launches late in 2013.

News of Reznor's involvement in a project with Beats surfaced last October, and the rocker subsequently offered insight into what exactly what he wants Daisy to offer listeners by comparing it with the likes of Spotify. "'Here's 16 million licensed pieces of music,' they've said, but you're not stumbling into anything," the Nine Inch Nails mastermind said. "What's missing is a system that adds a layer of intelligent curation . . . As great as it is to have all this information bombarding you, there's a real value in trusted filters. It's like having your own guy when you go into the record store, who knows what you like but can also point you down some paths you wouldn't necessarily have encountered."

The last one should be titled, "Vanity". Because she is absolutely enraptured by herself. I have no idea why. If she really wants to excite Trent's fans, she should be posting pictures of Trent. Despite the online sunshine suppositories I'm sure she's getting for her posing, they'd all much rather see him. After all, he is the star.

As for Reznoid's Daisy, I think I will pass.

Just as I do with anything he's involved with.

It is nice that he's finding creative ways to make money.

Since I'm fairly positive the sales for the new HTDA album isn't likely to be impressive.

I'm just waiting for the late night infomercials to start up.

Isn't that where most snake oil salesmen show up sooner or later?

A NIN Greatest Hits album is in the works!!!1!
Funny, I thought Interscope put one of those out several years ago.
Oh wait, this new and Reznor approved Greatest Hits album will include two new tracks.

I'm going to hold out for the very NIN Christmas album, just saying....

Yeah there was a greatest hits album already released in 2008 by Interscope. It's lacking "Discipline" though.

You're so vain. You probably think this song is about you, don't you, don't you, don't you?

I keep wondering where the mother of two toddlers finds the time to spend on this self adoration crap.

They must have at least one goth version of Mary Poppins in the house so Mrs. Reznoid can devote herself to important things like getting pointy Fu Manchu nails, elaborate eyeliner & excessive brows & dressing in tacky goth Lolita clothing.

Thirtysomething goth Lolitas......lord have mercy.
