I'm watching TSN, and keep hearing about the John Tortorella death watch.
Agreed he's not the best choice for a team that may need to move in a rebuilding direction, BUT what about the guy who traded Luongo, traded Schneider, traded Hogdson, signed Edler to a horrible contract, etc?

Let's not go for it, let's just add depth and hope we get to the finals and maybe we'll win.
So what if there is only a small window of opportunity for Rask and Chara
(Brady), we just want to be ONE of the top teams every year.
Nice attitude. Worked well for the Pats the last 9 years. (2007 excluded)
This team is a contender as is. They're better than last year without Seidenberg. I have no problem with Chia holding and thankfully the Edler for Spooner and others fell through. Spooner is the fastest center the B's have.
Julien has to manage the minutes right before the playoffs. I'd give Miller 8 or so minutes of Chara's game per night.

The biggest issue I see the Bruins having is the Habs - so long as Price gets healthy. Rask has BIG issues against the Canadiens, and no matter where they are in the standings, the Habs always seem to give the Bruins fits.
Of course the Canadiens/Leafs will probably play 7 OT games in the opening round, while the Bruins cakewalk through a depleted Tampa Bay squad.

The Pens = the dirtiest, yet biggest bunch of fucking crybabies, in the league. Win on, bro...win on.
A'ight, lemme jump in this. The Devils own the Fylers. Marty will shut you the heck out, Philly boi.
If the refs had screwed Philly out of that first goal, the way they did the 2nd, you'd be correct right now.
Seriously, the Flyers should have capitalized on the PP. No excuses.

As usual you hit it right on the head. Rask needs a good showing tomorrow night.
And Vanek - 61 points in 53 games against the B's. The guy is a nightmare.
But beware of the swedish connection of Soderberg and Eriksson. They're heating up.
Looks like I picked the wrong time to quit sniffing glue.
I watched that Pitt vs Blackhawk outdoor game last Monday? I might be a minority but it was entertaining, snowing like a mother fucker. Not that I want to see a lot of them. But I like that they've added a few.
Fuck it was just awesome to see a game on a local regular channel! I got a call from a grandma who asked if I was watching. They don't have cable at this elderly complex but I guess a bunch of old folks had the game on in the main club house, I could hear them yelling and screaming....Sounded like a party, they liked the outdoor game.

look at the teams that burke leaves behind. they have become winners after he left because of the team he built finally gels.
burke and pat quinn are they only gms the canucks ever had that knew what they were doing.
Love it! Giroux, who has NEVER scored against the 'hawks, scores the winner with 4.2 seconds left in OT. FINALLY. Fuckers look like the want to actually make it to the post season.

Just beat #1 ranked Blues...4-1.
God damn cockjerkers. Nothing works out for the Devils.
I swear...if The Flyers quit hitting the fucking post at least a half dozen times a game, they'd be unstoppable. The gang that couldn't shoot straight.

Great game Flyers vs. Blues. Both goalies played great.
But Flyers lose in the glorified skills competition after OT to decide the game.
Two consecutive shootout losses in a row to the top 2 teams in the league. I'll take it.

BOB!! (Still love that guy) But shame for Mase. The team let him down again (2 games being shut out in a row now) shades of the beginning of the season again.
