Re: The NFL Thread
This is the only time of the year the Cowboys can be relevant so of course Jerry Trump is doing everything possible to be in the news.

They release a player because he was "allegedly" involved with a crime back in June in Virginia.. Come to find out the day after they release him?
Dude was innocent. Cops had the wrong guy and they admitted it. LOL....
Plus, he has gotten into trouble prior to this incident. The team had enough of his behavior before the case of mistaken identity.
Dallas was in a no win situation. Lucky was on his last straw.
If the team did not act fact, the public would cry that Dallas was looking the other way again.
If Dallas acted fast and released Lucky, the public would say why not wait until all the facts are gathered(which might take days or weeks).
Better to release him now, allow him the chance to catch on somewhere else and everybody goes home happy!
Way to miss the whole fucking point and I can see that you have been hounding the Facebook feeds today. LOL. Just about every line in that piss paragraph, I have read at least a dozen times today.
Well, at least you aren't dumb enough (yet) to be like some "fans" that think Zeke should be cut and not Lucky. And, that the same punishment should be the same for all players. lol.. That's never gonna happen in the NFL, on any team.
The shit still remains that the FO of Dallas is a disgrace and this fan cannot wait until the Jones' family is no longer in the picture. Don't see that happening, but, fuck , would it be nice.

WTF are you going on and on about. I don't visit FB. So there you go!
Since you are pretending to be the expert what should the FO have done in this case? C'mon, give us your play by play.
I'll stay tuned for your reply.

Re: The NFL Thread
You guys remember a few seasons ago when the Rams drafted that gay guy?
I remember Machado going on and on about how he didn't belong in the league.
The Rams cut him Jerry saw that he could get some training camp publicity so he picked him up and Machado was the best friend a gay man could ever have in his life all of a sudden.
Two things are certain when the NFL gets back in business 1 - Jerry loves a soap opera more than anything else and 2 - Machado will make an ass out of himself damn near every day.
Re: The NFL Thread
oh please, i wish we were on the football field right now. i would tackle you for a loss, force a fumble and return that for a TD. all while you are on the floor, eddie lee roth wrote:

I take Moss over Ellis
I NEVER make the trade for Gallowaste,,
Gregory, GONE! Irving? Gone...
Stop drafting "projects" and draft players..
eh,, what's the use.. This is all way beyond your realm of thinking.

This might be the only time I'll ever say this but Machado has a point as far as what he said about Kaepernick.

Why do you insist on telling everybody that you're a big dummy every single day.
Our memory isn't that bad we all know you're a big dummy.
I double dog dare you to not sound like a dumbass for the rest of the day.
You think you can do it I don't.

you went on and on about a job interview. which is a stretch.
i called you on it and now you are on another tangent about who knows what.
STFU already!
watch some exhibition football and enjoy.
i watched 2 series of the game and deleted it. was boring. 5 exhibition games for any NFL team is 3 too many.

Calm down you know damn well I have a conscience and if you start crying about me picking on you I'm gonna feel bad.
Until week 1 starts the only thing worth following is how healthy your team is.
These games suck and they mean nothing but they do provide a good example that the league cares as much about the fans as they do about the players.

Re: The NFL Thread
Ryan Tannehill is out for the season. Maybe they'll give Kaepernick a shot. If they don't but do sign Jay Cutler I'd like to see them lose every game.
Re: The NFL Thread
did you see the play? how unlucky. poor bastard. the worst fear in training camp is losing that franchise player in any drill. who knows, maybe Kapeddie lee roth wrote:Ryan Tannehill is out for the season. go ahead and compare their respective careers. one guy has 1 season under
his belt and the other has more than 1. sure, that's a fair comparison

There's no need to get all pissy.
I was just ribbing you over the way it ended for the Cowboys last season.

if you are the dolphins and Ryan T is out for the season, do you try to sign Cutler or Kap?
IMO, the decision is easy. Kap is the man. you know he's in football shape, while Cutler hasn't worked
out and is ready to be on TV.
Matt Moore can probably do the job decently. You don't expect him to have a breakout, all-pro year. He has
been in Miami for several seasons and was the starter for a bit. Maybe give him the job until he loses it
due to poor player

Re: The NFL Thread
I wouldn't touch Jay Cutler with a 10 foot pole. I don't know why he was offered a TV job. He played like he had no heart just a grumpy miserable asshole who's own teammates hated him.
Re: The NFL Thread
Phins sign Jay Cutler
WOW!
So I guess Kap is never going to get a NFL job again. Very sad. I think the owners
should be embarrassed for "black balling" Kap right now.
Cutler is not good. He has proven that in his career. Will be nice to see
Cutler fail and fumble down in Miami. Until he's injured and can't play again.

After that Fidel Castro shit, there was no way Miami was ever going to sign Kaepernick.

Pretty sad that this is the best they could come up with as a plan b to Tannehill.

Kap was the better choice. Miami didn't sign Kap because of what Kap believes in.Pierce Foreskin wrote:I am going to enjoy watching the Pats kill him twice this season.Machado wrote:Phins sign Jay Cutler

Which is ridiculous. Not a coincidence that Cutler, who is white, go the job
over Kap, who is black. This goes to show how racist the NFL is currently
and that no progress is being made on racial matters. On the field
or in the executive offices.
