It really is. Rusev was protecting him the entire match.Caustic Queen wrote:It's sad at this point...TheInfiniteStaircase wrote:Man, they need to let The Undertaker retire for real already.
My family and I thought Taker was in his 60s or 70s at this point and he's only in his 50s. What's the point in being a multi-millionaire with a wife who's half your age if you can't even move?
Anyway, The Saudi Royal Rumble was kind of a waste in my opinion.

The whole show was nothing more than a way to boost Saudi Arabia's image, the show was good but nothing special, highlight was definitely Titus and his ring entrance

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
I teared up during the intro..nothing better than wwe world domination
Wwe got exactly what they wanted an event that made Saudi special with trophy and didn’t change build up for Backlash at all
I hope wwe does more bonus stadium shows from far away lands..this was just bonus network event.fun Friday morning
The ending with Vince in the ring I’ve watched like 50xs already...amazing to think what he truly has done

Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

You just know that Titus will be wished well in his future endeavors later this weekend.

I doubt it. Titus Worldwide is at least somewhat popular as mid-carders at the moment, so I don't think Vince would want to pull the plug on it just yet.KevinFL wrote:You just know that Titus will be wished well in his future endeavors later this weekend.

Who do you think told them to keep showing it again and again? Vince
I don’t get why make fun of it..Be a Star..so kids are supposed to laugh when classmates fall down
Titus recovered so well..he should come out and say he was chasing leprechaun from under the ring

Yea, I was kind of surprised that the announcers had such a field day with Titus's Grand Entrance... not the typical response to a botch...

Its been reported that Vince was laughing so hard backstage, he was near tears.

The show was long as fuck! Cool environment and cool to see HHH open the show. l can’t imagine how much $$$ The Saudi’s paid WWE for this show, had to be massive.

I'm going to Raw and Smackdown Monday and Tuesday in Montreal. Wondering if the whole roster is going to be fried from the Saudi trip and party on the plane home.

Maybe. I'm more interested in the fact that it's in Montreal, so we'll have to hear the usual "You screwed Bret!" chants...WOLF wrote:I'm going to Raw and Smackdown Monday and Tuesday in Montreal. Wondering if the whole roster is going to be fried from the Saudi trip and party on the plane home.

The last time WWE did a Live show from Canada they were singing "Hey Bayley" during one of the guy's matches..LAglamrocker wrote:Crazy Canada fans living in the past!

I don't understand the endings of the 2 big title matches.
the cage breaks and a double count out. on a ppv?
shouldn't that be on raw or even a house show?

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
I have to agree. I mean, if the Reigns/Lesnar feud is over now, then that's great. But if this is all to get them to ANOTHER match I'd rather them move on at this point.Kid-Wicked wrote:I don't understand the endings of the 2 big title matches.

There was a moment in the Nakamura/Styles match where it looked like Styles was about to lose the title and i think everyone got excited.
I mean, the PPV wasn't terrible but they hyped it up so much that I expected more substantial events to take place, and other than new Tag Champs, which was no surprise, nothing else really happened. I think it would have been a cooler show if they didn't hype it up to be this game changing continuation of WrestleMania.

What a shit show. Could you suck Saudi cock any harder? That "amazing hospitality" really showed in the great women's matches. Didn't they hire Cheerleader Melissa as a coach at some point? At least throw in Raisha Saeed and pretend you believe in your shitty-ass product. Of course pussies also ditched the classic WWE jingoism and put on some nice terrorist-friendly Iran squash instead. Where's the Iron Sheik when you need him?

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
Supposedly they paid WWE between 100 - 200 Million Dollars to have the event there.
I also just read a rumor that the Saudis asked for The Undertaker, Ultimate Warrior and Yokozuna to be a part of it.

They had Yokozuna type guy in the Rumble. Titus should have worn Warrior face paint

This crowd is crazy tonight. I love hearing Owens and Zayn get such humongous cheers.
I really hope they have Elias win Money In The Bank this Summer. He seems like the perfect candidate for it.

According to Meltzer, Vince had that guy in the Rumble because of his Yokozuna similaritiesLAglamrocker wrote:They had Yokozuna type guy in the Rumble.

I was there tonight and will be back at Smackdown tomorrow. Crowd was definitely hot. Owens and Zayn are conquering heroes here; Reigns garnered genuine heat; and the crowd appreciated what Rollins and Balor had to give. Really good attendance too; will be curious to see what Smackdown draws. I'm really looking forward to Styles/Nakamura.TheInfiniteStaircase wrote:This crowd is crazy tonight. That's awesome man! Rollins and Balor always put on a great match. I was worried they were going to have it end with someone running in; was so glad they actually had a fair one on one match.WOLF wrote:I was there tonight and will be back at Smackdown tomorrow. I hope Smackdown steps it up tomorrow for you. Personally, I feel the show has been worse than ever lately. Nakamura's heel turn is the best thing going for it. Enjoy the show!
