Y'know . . . it could be about the spice?

I absolutely fucking hate having Asian neighbors. They keep their yard clean and mowed, they shut their dogs up every time they bark, they tell their kids to be quiet or come inside the house when they are playing outside . . . Great neighbors. However, I fucking HATE going out to my truck to grab something and CONSTANTLY going "Damn, that smells good. Fuck! Now I want Asian food."

I mean, “Asian” is an incredibly broad term, but Indians have definitely gotten the most out of every spice, ginger included. Few things are a straight up flavor bomb like a good curry.

Chinese, Korean and Thai. It's the Thai neighbor that's the closest but I still get whiffs of the other families cooking and it all smells amazing. Then I go inside and feel sorry for myself while I dig pizza rolls out of the freezer or have a bowl of cereal or something else simple and bland.

The bastards probably do it on purpose and laugh every time they cook. "Ha! Dumb white guy is probably going to microwave frozen White Castle today!"

I had an Indian meal that actually gave me a physical high. It was Tandoori chicken and a few other things. After the meal, as soon as I got outside, I felt as if I'd just smoked a joint. I was really buzzed.
