I'm not sure what the fuck this is but youtube suggested them to me and I'm digging it. Seems like these guys are from some Mexican country or some shit.
So, any of you guys heard about these muchachos before?

To be fair, the Portuguese hate Mexican countries so much that they moved in next door to a bunch of them and still won't let them speak Spanish.
These guys are from THE Mexican country. Only the drummer looks like a brown, though. Weird.

I like all the changes, keeps it interesting. Lead chick has good energy. Pretty keyboard heavy for not having one onstage (I'm guessing they're behind the curtains because they're from a non-mexican country)

Holy shit, they are! These guys are more Mexican than Javier Bardem!
How 'bout Pascal? You heard about Pascal? He was also a fucking frog.
No?
Ok, René Goscinny then. Please tell me you at least read Asterix.

Yes. They are from Mexico. I have their first album as a friend worked on it at the studio. But I remember not really liking it much although I admired their ambition. This is a changed sound for them but might have more of a chance in the current pop marketplace.

Of course I've heard of Pascal... I never really liked Asterix, I was more of a fan of Hergé's Tintin when I was growing up...mullet_head wrote: ↑Sat Oct 14, 2023 1:56 pm How 'bout Pascal? You heard about Pascal? He was also a fucking frog.

Would have been a nice change from the usual crap we have here.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Yellow_Dogs
On November 11, 2013, a shooting took place in Brooklyn that involved Yellow Dogs band members.[17][2] Guitarist Soroush Farazmand (age 27); drummer Arash Farazmand (age 28); along with Ali Eskandarian (age 35), a musician friend who was not part of the band; were all shot dead by disgruntled musician, Ali Akbar Mohammed Rafie (also known as Raefe Akhbar, age 29). Another man present at the crime scene, Sasan Sadeghpourosko (age 25), survived, suffering only wounds to his arm. Rafie committed suicide.[3]
Originally, media reports described Akbar as a former band member who had been thrown out of the band three days before. In later reports, however, it was stated that he had never been an official member of the Yellow Dogs, but had hung out with Yellow Dogs since being expelled in 2012 from a different Iranian emigre rock band, Free Keys.[18][19][20]
