Megadeth just barely over AIC. The Pantera and Maiden albums are third and fourth, with honorable mention to the C/D-level hair albums like Slik Toxik and Wildside...

Edit: Throw STP in there as well. Great album.

I can't see how Motorhead would get any votes on this. It isn't close to being their best 90s album.

Tossup between Alice, Testament and Pantera...went with Testament cuz I revisited the album recently and was amazed at how great it sounds, better production than the 2 previous albums they did.

Just realized Adrenalize and Revenge were both left out. I assume intentionally?

Yes
Was just going to mention them. But from the list, DT followed by STP.

Black Crowes and Electric Boys 2nd albums were also good, and House of Lords and John Norum made their best albums 1992.

Good choice, though the record is a little too long.

Had to go with Rage just because it’s such a definitive album for them.

Core, Dirt, Vulgar, I & W, and Countdown are all classic and amazing albums but all those bands have other albums that measure up. Rage have one near-perfect album and two very good albums.

Out of the list, Dirt, great album. Countdown second, I still like it a lot but less than how I loved it at the time. Maiden is my favorite band but FOTD is among their worst.

My favorite though might be Faith No More- Angel Dust.

Other ones I really like
Bon Jovi- Keep the Faith
Warrant- Dog Eat Dog
Black Sabbath- Dehumanizer
Darkthrone- A Blaze in the Northern Sky
Danzig- III: How The Gods Kill
Blind Guardian- Somewhere Far Beyond
Bolt Thrower- The IV Crusade

Interesting year, a lot of variety
