Air Supply
Watched the video of SB singing with them and went down an Air Supply rabbit hole.
The shorter guy. I thought he was around 5' tall. Nope. He's 5'7. The other guy is 6'5".
Why is the short guy morphing into a tatted up old lady? He looks awful. Does the other guy not tell him? "This isn't a metal band. Stop the tats. And quit dressing like a little old lady!"
Any fans?

It takes ages for them to do it.

Re: Air Supply
saw them ages ago in Mexico. great show. all the hits.
"tatted granny" (Russell Hitchcock) threw the horns on more than one occasion. a few years later when they did shows in my area there was an interview with them in the newspaper, he said he preferred heavier stuff like AC/DC and Zeppelin.

I feel like the tattoos were just his effort to toughen up his image of being one of the wimpy guys from Air Supply.

Re: Air Supply
I hadn't thought of Air Supply for decades until the SB thread popped up here. I just got on YouTube to check out a couple of live videos. In the 60 seconds I watched, it seems like (at least some of) their up-tempo, classic hits are being played with a more guitar-driven sound. It wasn't bad.

Air Supply are great. I've seen them a number of time live and they are fantastic in concert.

Re: Air Supply
That is correct, and the average age is probably 73.Nobodyspecial wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2024 3:56 amI'm willing to bet the crowd is mostly women tooBlumpkin King wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 8:30 am Air Supply are great. I've seen them a number of time live and they are fantastic in concert.

Re: Air Supply
I prefer Aerosupply more than barely, but I do enjoy Air Supply as far as good classic yacht rock goes.
