I saw Firehouse without CJ a month or so back opening for Bret Michaels at Mohegan Sun Arena. That guy can sing. I am not a Firehouse fan by any means, but the guy nailed it. Apparently, it was his first gig with Firehouse and the first arena he ever played in. Had he not said it I wouldn't have had any idea.

yeah, that's more than just an off night. They pulled the plug 3 songs too late apparently, but maybe whatever was going on didn't kick in until 10 seconds into the first song. Saw Jack last year and it was a good show, nothing like this. The band sounds good!!

The thing is, this isn't just a "wow he's past his prime" thing, he's had some kind of RAPID decline recently.

This was only 7 weeks ago and while he obviously looks old and frail I would've been fine seeing this performance:
