A lot of surprises in the setlist as promised. They are so lazy. All they did was throw in On With the Show and Dogs of War. They’ve played OWTS a lot since the 2005 reunion…that one isn’t much of a surprise. Also, nobody wants to hear SOS anymore.

If that tempo of "Primal Scream" got any slower, it would be playing in reverse.

Everything they do is uninspired right down to still using that lame ass The Future Is Ours intro

Sober Vince sounds better than I expected.
Re: full motley show 1st night ac
I still cannot comprehend why anyone would ever want to see that band live.

Atlantic City. Perfect place for the Crue. They should take up permanent residency there. Too bad the Taj went under...

Funny enough, the Hard Rock is Taj Mahal re-modeled.GreatWhiteSnake wrote: ↑Sun May 05, 2024 8:49 am Atlantic City. Perfect place for the Crue. They should take up permanent residency there. Too bad the Taj went under...
I saw Motley at the Taj Mahal a few years back. It must've been before they retired!
I met Vince at the bar the next day, early afternoon. He was as humble and cool as can be. I don't know why I didn't ask for a photo but I did ask him to sign a bar napkin, which I thought was cool in an old school way.

Stepped in to say the same.
Absolutely nothing about the fun of live shows is represented here. Only amateurs show up for Crue in 2024… the kinda boring nerds who eat Ragu spaghetti sauce.

John 5 IS shit. I don’t care about his technical skills/ability, it’s the aggressive tone I want out of Motley. He’s just not right for this band. Hasn’t written anything worthwhile since he was in Manson.

These songs become empty chasms without Mick's ferocious tone. The groove is gone.

I wish Mick & Vince would’ve put out a real album together and then toured like Gene is doing now.

Vince can't remember the words to the songs he has been singing for years, so how would he be singing anything new? I don't think a teleprompter would help as I am not sure he can actually read.DangerZone wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 7:54 am I wish Mick & Vince would’ve put out a real album together and then toured like Gene is doing now.

You must have missed Dogs for War. He was CLEARLY reading off the teleprompter.Blumpkin King wrote: ↑Mon May 06, 2024 7:58 amVince can't remember the words to the songs he has been singing for years, so how would he be singing anything new? Vince looks normal pregnant now and not carrying twins pregnant.
John 5's hair rivals Gene's coon-skin rug.

It wasnt great, but at least you get a lot of it. 83 mins! Well, not a lot of it when it comes to quality headliner set length, but a lot to endure if you decide to watch the whole thing.

Surprised no one noticed John 5’s guitar solo is
Ace Frehleys from the 70’s. Almost note for note.
I wonder what Nikki will do when he realizes John
isn’t making the Crue any richer or respected?
Axl isn’t touching them as an opener. Jovi probably won’t
tour again, no way pantera brings them out.
CC DeVille would’ve been a better fit than this dopey f/ck 5

Ironic that J5 toned his image WAY down to join the Crue, who used to be the wildest most image based band around. Motley Crue - Boring as hell.

Yeah, it's odd.
If there's someone who needs every visual trick possible to not look like a huge dork on stage, it's him.

what makes you think that they want to go out with ANYONE as an opener? crue plays to more people than pantera.kc primo wrote: ↑Wed May 08, 2024 11:40 am Surprised no one noticed John 5’s guitar solo is
