I saw them earlier this year, billed as Nelson. I'm not sure what expectations I had, but I thought they were pretty good and definitely haven't lost much vocally.

Are they a bit more commercial than I would like? Yeah, sure. Have they crossed over a bit too far into the pop territory? Probably.

But they are a good band with a great singer and very good songs.

Paul McCartney doesn't sound great, but he's still Paul McCartney, and he get a deserved pass because he's out there doing it with real vocals, on his feet for a nearly 3 hour show at 80+ years old. He would definitely be toward the bottom of this list, but I'll go see him any chance I get.
