Tony Iommi (or his handlers) posted "This is the end of a chapter, but not the end of the story" on his Facebook.
Apart from merch/reissues, place your bets. Tony Martin/Gillan tour? Big American stadium gig with guest singers? Ozzy hologram?

Re: Black Sabbath are BACK! For 1 night only.
I bought access to the stream, watched it on the big TV with hifi speakers, so a nice front row experience. Despite the lineup being a bit too US thrash for my taste I ended up really enjoying the entire day - the sets and gaps between were short enough that it held my interest and didn't get boring...

Shame it didn't work out in Vixen, the single they released was great. Not really digging their new singer much.

Watched some clips on Youtube and expected to be cynical but was really impressed, they sound fucking great and Taime looks loads better. I hope this lineup records a full album of original material, they really do sound excellent. Great lineup, must've been a blast to see them in concert in such go...

Her music is lightweight, very average, leave this kind of music to the men.

I was never much of an Aerosmith fan at the time (from around when Permanent Vacation came out onwards) but I've been playing the shit out of them this year, watched a ton of concerts and loved all of it, all eras. I think it was hearing Draw The Line on a playlist that pulled me in.

Definitely expected the second half and the encores to be mixed up more than that, they're still great songs but too predictable. I wonder if playing more familiar material was a way of breaking the new drummer in.

Why are they using Death Cult? Nostalgia tour? Death Cult shows feature setlists that only include songs from that era of the band through the Love album, nothing after https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/death-cult/2025/el-rey-theatre-los-angeles-ca-73462e59.html Thanks, great setlist, the band sound r...

The filming was excellent, made the theatrics look a lot more polished than they actually were. Great setlist, atmosphere and performances all round. Probably one of my fave concert movies and definitely a high point in the Coop's career.

It's like when they use "exhaustion" as a synonym for being strung out or in withdrawal as a reason for cancelling tour dates. Vince is most likely attempting to dry out and/or lose weight.

Even if Razzle had lived, Andy McCoy would've prevented them from having major success. Too much of a liability and fuckup and just incompatible with the business side of the industry. And McCoy was the heartbeat of that band, of course.

I'm a fan; I have all the albums. I feel like I've heard it - lyrically and musically. There is a little Spillways in the chorus mixed with another song (maybe Cirice?). I don't dislike it. It's catchy. It's just very familiar. Yeah, agree with you. This feels very safe and predictable - "oh, ...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBUGAf5bVTk Great song, feels like proto sleazy rock to me. Anyone heard this before? Released in '77 as a non-album single but failed to chart. Punk happened. Also covered by Girlschool: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iDy0pY3ruak What an absolute belter of a track!

Great setlist, he's got a lot to choose from and that's a really nice spread of tracks from throughout his career. A track or two from his solo debut wouldn't go amiss, though - She's No Angel or Million Miles Away (not the Hanoi one) would be cool additions.

Last show I saw was Kiss on their End Of The Road tour, I just haven't been bothered since. Had tickets for Mike Monroe the last time he played here but couldn't face it on the night. These days I have a dedicated home theatre/studio setup with a nice hifi and large screen, I've got 1000+ and count...
