Re: The NFL Thread

I haven't said anything about the Lions this season because they were looking like a real team and doing the things they were supposed to for the most part. I know it's dumb but I didn't want to jinx it. AND THEN... I know it's the Patriots, but at least they could have looked like they were trying ...

Re: The NFL Thread

So who's brilliant idea was it for Buffalo's home game to be played at Ford Field. Do they realize that the Bills are not exactly any Lions fans favorite team right now because of Jim Schwartz. Probably the most cheering the Jets will hear all year. It's a tough situation. A hell of a lot better so...

Re: The NFL Thread

My two cents on Russell Wilson. His height is listed as 5'11 but I've heard that is a pro wrasslin style exaggeration. I think he would be as good as any pocket passer if he were taller. I don't think they realized what they had in Tate and thought the "Next man up mentality" would work ju...

The Bears suck, but last nights loss was more a case of the Packers being that damn hot right now. I'm obviously not a fan but no one can deny they are playing lights out right now.

Fire Jim Harbaugh and he should have a list of teams in NFL to coach next year. If not I know people are clamoring for him to come to U of M next year.

Re: The NFL Thread

What the hell is that about? Sanchez sucked, the Jets just picked the wrong year to draft a franchise QB. They should have kept Drew Stanton who has a winning record in Detroit and Arizona and waited for "the guy" instead of first signing Tebow then feeling forced to draft a QB. And now, ...

Re: The NFL Thread

Of all teams to lose to it had to be the Redskins! Just when the train was filled to capacity and rolling full speed. Before last night the Cowboys were pre approved for the NFC championship game. Re: The NFL Thread

Anyone see the press conference with Sean Peyton? What the hell is that about? I know he's not used to losing but Jim Harbaugh probably saw that and thought what an asshole. If Seattle can't take the west, and my magic eight ball says "future looks bleak" then I hope AZ does. It's just fru...

And there he is. Hey you deserve to gloat some for once, that was a good win. Enjoy it while you can though. No one was really taking the Cowboys seriously before and once they figure out that it's just Linehan's old Lions offense the wins are going to be a lot harder to get.

Re: The NFL Thread

The goggles on their heads would have been funny if the Ravens hadn't kicked the Panthers asses. The Ray Rice scandal seemed to have lit a fire in the Ravens that has been missing since the Superbowl. I looked at the NFC East schedule and the only reason that 3 of those teams might make it to .500 i...

He supposedly stays away because Levi is too mean to him. Levi does seem to need a target, but Machado practically begs for Levi to mess with him. And it's not like NS has ever missed an opportunity to insult someone when the Vikings beat their team.

Every television station that can afford it would love to air NFL games. ESPN doesn't want to lose their contract, so I can understand why they have handled Goodell with delicacy. I'm sure there are a lot of people there behind the scenes cheering him for saying it, but for the sake of their busines...

The last of the undefeted: Eagles, Cardinals, Bengals The last of the winless: Buc's, Jax's, Raiders I won't even begin to make a prediction on the undefeated teams, but I think we will be able to scratch the Jags off the list of winless soon. Bortles may not be flashy but he is the real deal.

My opinion is biased obviously but here it is. It is at Seattle, the biggest home game they will play all year. They lost to both AFC West teams they played in the preseason that includes the Raiders. That makes me believe they played a vanilla game plan at the least then. Sometimes a team just has ...

I've heard Goodell's Salary is roughly half of the NFL's team caps, but that seems a little outrageous to me.
