Re: The NFL Thread

I'm putting my vote in for Vince McMahon for new Commissioner. You know he wants the job, and he probably has more experience dealing with these issues then anyone else qualified for the job.

I'm only half joking.

Re: The NFL Thread

I thought Jim Schwartz came back to coach that game against the Panthers. Arizona is the underdog team I am rooting for this year. If they only had a real QB I would be putting them in Superbowl contention. Speaking of Quarterbacks, might as well let Bridgewater sit and learn this season. If Peterso...

Re: The NFL Thread

Looking forward to seeing if the Titans are for real, same for the Vikings and of course the Lions.
We've already seen that the Steelers reign is most likely over. Now what about the Giants, and not
really a reign, but the 'Skins.

Re: The NFL Thread

I'm still smiling that the Panthers took it to Tampa Bay with our backup qb... Not to bad for an offense that "had no weapons" Going to be a good year I hope.. I'm looking forward to this game Sunday. I really think the Lions will destroy the Panthers. If the Lions win this game it will s...

Re: The NFL Thread

I think Texas is going to be well represented in the bottom 5 this year in general, but this is going to be the breaking year for Dallas and Romo. Rice's wife could have been charged with domestic violence right up until Ray decided his last name was Tyson. I mean what the hell your name is Ray Rice...

I understand that the Oklahoma City Thunder has preseason games in Tulsa but I think that they play in a building owned by the same people. Preseason week 1 does anyone have any idea how the Lions did other then that they won? I had actually forgotten that he was still in the NFL. Come on does anyone really think Matt Cassel will start the season? Pretty sure it's the same old smoke screen that teams try every year. Brian Hoyer and Michael Vick have a better chance of starting then Cassel.

Re: The NFL Thread

I can't blame them for getting Bridgewater when your other two QB's are Ponder and Cassel.

You draft Teddy and hope he can outplay Cutler, hope Rodgers goes down for five games and Stafford keeps throwing interceptions. Now that's how you win a Division!

So what do you think of your team's first-round dealings? Have a feeling the Bills Sammy Watkins move won't pay off for them, nothing ever does. TO has had so many chances and still managed to screw everything up. He deserves everything that is going to end up happening to him. Then someone needs to film a documentary about it and the NFL should open every rookie symposium with that film.
