Re: Manowar thoughts, please
Their first four albums are what made them great. Each album is completely different which is a miracle considering how limited their lyrical content is. The thing is, the production on those albums doesn't hold up. But you're in luck because they continue to produce excellent records. I suggest Kin...

Re: Does Axl hate Matt Sorum?
When Sash and Duff offered the gig to Matt it was premature. They didn't do their due diligence. They didn't want to go through the process of auditions. It was literally "that's it, we're done!" Matt was an older dude who was used to going from gig to gig. That included dressing appropria...

Heroic Left DEMAMD justice for black teen killed by white mob
In Las Vegas a black 17-year-old boy was beat to death by up to 15 white assailants. Democrats and leftists protests for justice in what they call a "most certainly Maga-related crime. They further state that "there is absolutely no excuse for this heinous murder" and that they will &...

Fun stuff and it's cool you take pride in it. I don't know much about Damger Danger but I do remember that shirt design so that's cool. I'd probably wear that Warrant shirt. Not big on Fester pussycat, but it's cool if it's vintage. Some of these look like repros? And here's the reason why I'm chimi...

Re: Paul Stanley gets heckled at Hollywood Bowl
Dude read ‘double-digit IQ’ and felt personally attacked. I get it. I know my response is disproportionate to the source motivator, but for the record I do not chime in and cause drama on every political thread. Far from it. But sterilize is the type of guy that needs to be addressed. The majority ...

You gotta remember, KISS fans are really stupid. Especially ones who pay for these shitty meet-and-greets. I watched the OP video and the Gene video and my god does every utterance from the crowd sound ‘double-digit IQ’ to me. Like straight up South Park ‘RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE’ crowd caliber intelli...

HEATHEN - Set Me Free
I saw this on Headbanger's Ball a couple times back in the day and I loved it. I think they are from San francisco. I haven't heard anything else from them. I had no idea it was a cover tune until Stryper recorded it for The Covering in 2011. I never would have guessed it was originally a Sweet song...

Re: GNR - The General and Monsters
What the f is this crap? How hard is it to write a fucking rock song? These songs reek of the outdated ambition responsible for one of the biggest failures in Rock history. No matter how you spin it, Chinese Democracy was a lifeless overly complicated dud. No one could relate to it. So now are we go...

Re: Combining Randy Rhoads' fingerstyle parts
Nice playing. And then Yngwie came along and was light years ahead of where Randy eventually wanted to go. At the time, we used to joke that the real reason the plane crashed was because Varney sent Randy a few cuts from Yngwie's demo. I love Yngwie but in my opinion he's much more of a one-trick p...

You could argue against Tesla being a second-rate GNR, but as soon as Jeff Keith did the Axl dance in one of their videos, that's exactly what they became.

I'll never forget driving back from the city with my older brother and his friend. They were all about the latest car stereo gear and Metal. They pop a cassette on and I have no idea what it is. I guess during that time there was always a spot on a tour for them. So they were reaching audiences and the label saw them working hard and the headliners probably didn't have to pay them a whole lot. Regarding these comparisons. I don't know Black and Blue that well but Hold on to 18 is way better...

Manowar banned me from all their concerts after an interview I did with Scott Columbus for Classic Rock Magazine. I am a Brother Of Metal no more. That was a great interview. In fact, it got me in trouble with Joey himself in the weirdest way possible. The Thunder in the Sky EP was out at the time....

This isn't something that I worked up. I basically just jammed for 10 minutes and edited it down to a montage of riffs. I kinda dig it.
But, can I face the heat from the world's most notorious critics AKA sludgers?
