Ozzy didn't write songs. Dio did. That is a big issue. Ozzy sang on the first six untouchable Sabbath records, and had a good run with his solo stuff in the 80's and 90's, sucked badly afterwards (except for "13", which was good) Dio sang on three very good Rainbow records, three very good...

Ozzy's solo career ends with that album, as far as I'm concerned. That's a good run, from "Blizzard" to "Ozzmosis".

The debut, "Paranoid" and "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" are the best

I bought 3 at the same time, from a friend who was getting rid of them for some reason...early 1994.
Queen "Greatest Hits II", Queen "A Kind of Magic" and Nirvana's "Nevermind".
I still have'em and listen to them.

I like it. Noit my fave but it's ok. Much better than anything they recorded afterwards (well, "TWNAH" maybe is as good too)

Their first two albums are untouchable, "Melissa" and "Don't Break the Oath".
When they reformed in the 90's they managed to release some good stuff. Some albums were better than others, of course, but they always delivered (Listen to "9" for example)

"Wheels of steel", hands down. Dunno why there's so much "Crusader" praise around here (maybe it is an american thing) as far as I'm concerned, it is the weakest 80's album by far. Apart from the 3 classic period gems ("WOS", "SAOTL" and "D&L"), ...
