As many said, hard to get into new acts... funny enough its easier to enjoy non-metal newbies these days. Anyway, the trick is to discover or re-discover older bands... For the past 5 years or so I've been digging' into the discographies of bands I had quite a superficial knowledge of (maybe owning ...

Great songwriter, one of the best live experiences you'll ever get. Post 80's stuff? Well, the much maligned "Human Touch / Lucky Town" records are quite good, but you should go for "The Ghost of Tom Joad" and "The Rising". If you want something more recent, try with &q...

Fuck Sebitchian. He's a child.
But the thing is, I don't give a shit about Skid Row or the kiddo, but the good thing is a reunion would bring great enjoyment here at Metal Sludge, just imagine the drama, the stories and the crapstorm we would get from that... highly entertaining

Of course, in a heartbeat.
Uli's stuff is the way to go, but they would not be able to do justice to that stuff nowadays

"Beneath the remains" if you're into death metal. "Arise" for a thrashier sound. "Roots" for that late 90's "nu metal/groovy stuff". All of them, excellent. "Schizophrenia" is pretty good too. "Chaos A.D." never did nothing from me, apart f...

I was watching a live 1997 Jon Bon Jovi solo show and got to think that he was trying to fit with the times but all the same Warrant, Poison, Winger, etc etc also did that, and by the end of the century, if Bon Jovi the band didn't have the new "crossover" hit with ITS MY LIFE, would they...

These Days went Platinum and Crush went double Platinum. It's safe to say they gained fans and that helped increase ticket sales. The real mystery is how Keep the Faith is not seen as a major bomb when it sold way less than Adrenalize. They had hits but it didn't translate to album sales. How did t...
