Donnie Vie setting the facts strait at the Whisky, Thursday April 10

Haven’tvseen this posted anywhere but the Whisky website; DV returns to the Whisky for a solo show with Alex Kane in April. Last show there was fun! Happy to see him again, but he needs to put out a new album ASAP

Re: Do you like ELTON JOHN?

There are a handful of tracks that really hit for me, particularly "Amoreena", "Son of Your Father", "Love Lies Bleeding", but it's a bit of a chore to go through the whole albums. And the big tracks that I otherwise might like quite a bit have simply been played to dea...

Great band! Not into their early punk stuff but Teen Babes and everything after is great.

Switchblade Sister is an all time great rock single. Shoulda been a big hit https://youtu.be/gXRrlpWds8k?si=WjSfPQsO_NNi0ILR

Bret Michaels - "Show Me Your Hits: A Salute To Poison"

Weirdest cash-grab I've ever heard. I listened to this at the gym on a whim assuming it was gonna be inferior re-recordings of his hits to use for licensing so he gets a bigger cut of profit (or, as it's now known, "Taylor's version"), but it wasn't even close to that. He did something far...

I swear there was just a hair metal doc on Paramount last year (Candy’s “Whatever Happened to Fun” played during the credits every episode), but I still watched. Nuno’s Sebastian story was awesome

I love Poison's normal stuff, but damn I wish we got a second album with Kotzen. "Until You Suffer Some" and "theater of the soul" are just all-timer songs.

"Trendy"? The songs on Glenn don't sound like anything remotely popular today.

Re: Donnie Vie happy to set facts strait!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saw his show at the Whisky a few weeks ago. Looked good, sounded good, seemed sober. No sludge to report other than it seems like Alex Kane is the REAL leader of this group. Seems like he is leading rehearsals without DV and Donnie just pops in and sings when the hard work is done.

MIdnight In Paris: 8/10 Woody Allen's new movie, getting a wider release this weekend, really good story and Owen Wilson is great as the Woody character. A couple of funny one-liners and some beautiful shots of Paris, all around excellent movie. But if you're like me and not well-versed in the works...
