I Spit On Your Grave (2010 remake) 6/10 Too many new characters added, interesting dialogue however. But more violence for the sake of violence as opposed to moving the story along. The 1978 version is MUCH more, I dunno, mind-fucky. Limited dialogue, no real soundtrack other than incidental music, ...

I bought it and read the first chapter. That was as far as I got before the poor writing (and I'm being nice here) made me put it down. It's now sat on my bookshelf for over a year. I'll stick with the Merry Gentry series...
