As I’ve stated before, Toad is one of my favorite bands ever! But I am passing on this one. I’ve seen them twice in the last two years. And one time already had Vertical Horizon. I’ll wait until there is a new album they are supporting!

No, the Scottish band GUN. Great band - you should check out their first 3 cds ( Taking on the World, Gallus and Swagger).

Finally got around to Poetic Justice. Still don't get the "dark", but this album absolutely crushes. No idea who the guitar player is, but they kill it all over this album. Sounds like a band trying to get away from the hair scene, and this is one of the better efforts....from anyone. Jus...

I’ll say this… Signal Loud & Clear and Mark Free Long Way From Home are 2 of the best AOR albums of all time. There are a ton of demos out there too including The Future Ain’t What it Used to Be that are awesome too. I’ll absolutely 2nd this!! Mark was great on that first Unruly Child album also!

The Live InJection ep is great! Great Hanoi Rocks cover of Futurama. Really thought they might be huge. I still like Dancing on Coals. I have a version of Dancing On Coals where Futurama is an extra track. It's credited to Bang Tango, which is a bit naughty. Would love to hear that if you don’t min...

Re: Rate This Song: "Hey Jealousy" by Gin Blossoms

Doug had so many great lyrics. The whole first verse is heartbreak at its best. “The love I thought I’d won, you give for free”!! Also for those that don’t know. Robin had a great band called the Gas Giants after the Gin Blossoms broke up. Dan Henzerling, who is the brother of David Michael-Phillips...

One of my favorite bands! Saw them open for Toad the Wet Sprocket twice back in college. That was my dream concert back then.

All the songs Doug wrote are perfect but lots of great songs not written by him! Also lots of other great albums after the first one!

Just finished the 2nd. My initial thoughts. The best songs are better than anything on the debut, but overall not as strong. All's Fair (Easily the best song I've heard from them, and better than a lot of 80's stuff in general) Show A little Love My Number. Also really liked World Stopped Turning D...

Re: Heard Lillian Axe for the first time today, and....

Their best song is "Show a Little Love", IMO, but that first album is probably their best overall. "Show a Little Love" and “Now You Know” are similar pop metal classics! As others have said, the first 4 with Ron on vocals are all great!! Still listen to those albums all the tim...
