Slaughter "Fear No Evil" and Tyketto "Strength in Numbers" - both the albums covers and the music itself were great!

Re: Re-Reading 20 Questions with Slaughter's Inner Circle
I'm not 100% positive, but I believe this shelved album was ultimately released as Monkeyhead in 2001 on Frontiers Records. Jason Hook is the guitarist and Beau Hill produced.
There's a song on the album called "Dragon Fly", and I vaguely remember seeing the band featured in Metal Edge.

I agree. Although album opener "Wild Child" is really good!

Not sure why Tesla, Steelheart, and Trixter are in the poll. I didn't notice anything heavier about those albums - just a continuation of their original style.

I'd be happy hearing anything off "Freedom". Instead, they pick the worst song on the album to play live.MattleyCrue wrote: ↑Sun Feb 25, 2024 8:07 am Yeah I don’t know why they play late Let It Rain. They should have played the way it used to be. That song rocks!

Looks like the exact same setlist from the 2022 tour; right down to the crappy "Let it Rain" song from the two-yeard-old "Freedom" album. Only the Young Guitar Solo Stone in Love Don't Stop Believin' Lights Send Her My Love Who's Crying Now Escape Mother, Father - Deen Castronovo...

Interesting. I didn't know the drums were programmed on that album.. I knew that Def Leppard programmed all drums on Pyromania and Hysteria.. What other hard rock bands/albums had programmed drums?? Check out Kuni's "Looking For Action" - sounds a lot like Slaughter's drum sound since Dan...

These are the three that I recall during those years: 1999 - Rock Never Stops with Ted Nugent, Night Ranger, Quiet Riot, and Slaughter - it was outdoors and I recall Kevin Dubrow holding onto his hair when a blast of wind came up. 2000 - Power to the People tour with Poison, Cinderella, Dokken, and ...

"Bust a Nut" a bomb?? It went Gold in 1995, which was a pretty big accomplishment at the time.DonJuanDeMarco wrote: ↑Mon Jan 15, 2024 9:00 am 4th albums bombed. Cinderella for the win here too but there was nothing on Still Climbing that was as good as the best songs on the first 3 albums.

The song about Vinnie Vincent. "Burning Bridges" would probably get my vote if it wasn't for the stupid talking part in the song. Ruined what was otherwise a great song. What? I love that part! "Oh no -.you've got a headache? Maybe I should give you some Aspirin, huh?" 😎

Love both bands, but chose Great White as they have a stronger catalog of music in my book: "Shot in the Dark", "Once Bitten", "Twice Shy", "Hooked", "Psycho City", "Let it Rock", and "Sail Away" are essential; whereas Warrant jus...

Absolutely!
Slaughter is always energetic and fun even if their setlist is frustratingly stale.
Great White with Brett sounds excellent! And they've been bringing some obscure gems such as "Stick It" and "The Angel Song" back into their set.

I was warned that Eric Bloom of Blue Oyster Cult isn't very fan-friendly, but both times I met him, he was nice as can be.
