Folklore really changed my view on her: amazing album. Obviously, the guy from the National helped it a ton, but it's a top ten album for me.

I reluctantly checked out some Collective Soul, based in part on Demonfilth's ball washing of them.

I have to say they have many good tunes. A little generic and paint-by-numbers, but well-produced, well-crafted, good catchy rock.

It's a fucking cover band

Great Singer. So many different tones to his voice (consider Gonna Raise Hell as a great example of all he can do).

Although I greatly prefer the Schenker era, the Wild the Willing and the Innocent may be the best album in terms of consistent song-to-song quality. It's a great album.
