Re: Fast Food mobile apps
The Domino's one is decent. They send out a lot of deals through the app. I also like the Qdoba one. I think the McDonalds one gets you the best deals, though.

Re: Butch Walker playing guitar for Train for European summer tour
I am seeing Train on Friday at a festival in Minneapolis. Do you know if Butch is playing on the American part of their tour as well? Interesting. You may know before any of us. As next show is Aug 2nd with Edwin McCain opening. Post here what you see that night. Butch was playing with Train last n...

Re: What decade of your life did you enjoy the most so far?
This is a tough question. I guess I would go with my 20s. The beginning of it was spent in college, hanging out with my best friends every day and having a blast. I then started a career and made some good new friends. My 40s would have probably been my answer, as most it was awesome, but both of my...

Re: HEAVY METAL … Get On The Bus chats w/Armored Saint's John Bush, talks time in Anthrax and Metallica
Armored Saint is killer live. Here's a pic I took in 2018 in Detroit when they played a tiny club. Nothing like front row when the stage is only about 2 feet tall. https://i.imgur.com/0hL6PBs.png I saw them on that tour in an insanely small venue in Milwaukee. There were maybe 100 people there, but...

Re: 20 years ago next week was Pink Floyd’s last show
The "Roger Waters vs. David Gilmour" & "Are the records without RW worthy of the Pink Floyd name?" debate is a Sludge highlight for me. Hell, no. They are Gilmour solo albums. Roger’s solo work sucks too though. More bands should be allowed to die with dignity. With stuff li...

The first thing I do when I get into my seat and buckle up is put my earbuds in and start listening to music. Maybe Ted should do that instead of being a douche and yelling at a one year old.

Motley Crue. They were by far my favorite band in high school, seeing them four times on their Feelgood tour. I never choose to listen to them now, ever, and often avoid listening to them by changing the channel when a song of theirs comes on. I don't do that for any other band I liked in the 80s.

My hatred of Stryper fall squarely on Michael's oversinging in his high pitched voice. It has nothing to do with hating God.

Back in high school I got dragged to the Club MTV tour at Summerfest in Milwaukee. This tour had Information Society, Lisa Lisa & the Cult Jam, Was (not Was), Milli Vanilli, Tone Loc, and Paula Abdul. I was not happy about going, but it was actually a pretty good time.

One of my favorite bands ever, since the day I heard their album Pale for the first time as a freshman in college. I have seen them probably 20 times in concert, and their lead singer Glen a handful of other times. They don't have a bad album. In fact, their reunion album New Constellation that came...

Re: Geoff Tate: Operation Mindcrime - The Final Chapter Tour
Saw him a couple of years ago and he was great. Will pass on this. OMC2 was terrible. The OMC2 songs definitely slowed the show down, but he did a good job of breaking them up with Empire songs. The downside for me is the one song that I actually like on OMC2, The Hands, was not one of the OMC2 son...

Geoff Tate: Operation Mindcrime - The Final Chapter Tour
Checked out the Geoff Tate: Operation Mindcrime - The Final Chapter tour last night in Milwaukee. He sold out the Pabst Theater (capacity about 1,300). Geoff sounded great, and his band was solid. Started with Operation Mindcrime in its entirety, which was awesome. He pretty much played the songs st...

Re: I think Metallica had more to do with music shifting in the early 90's than Nivarna
There were a lot of factors in the music shifting in the early 90s. I entered college in the fall of 1990, and pretty much only listened to metal. Going to house parties in dumpy basements of upper classmen, from different places than where I grew up, opened my ears to a wide variety of music. The o...

They have a couple good songs. I like "Mad About You." I remembering liking "The Wild Life." I haven't heard it in some time. It, perhaps, sucks balls. Did you end up getting the vinyl of their first album? I remember you doing a poll and saying 35 stryper fans can't be wrong! T...

Re: Do you think Gene and Paul wonder why they don’t have a KISS channel on Sirius XM Radio ?
Most of those channels (Pearl Jam, Springsteen, DMB, Grateful Dead) are of bands that are known as great live bands and have thousands of shows recorded that they can play on those channels. KISS has sounded terrible live for decades (I'm being generous by insinuating that they did sound good at som...
