Both mentioned above...
Foghat Live is great, worth it for that version of Fool for the City alone.
Sam Cooke at Harlem Square Club is excellent, too. This also belongs in the "Actually Live" thread.

Kickass song. And I rather like the video, too. The whole Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark art style has always been nice & creepy and it fits well here.

Somehow completely forgot about UFO - Strangers, U2 - Blood Red Sky and Rush - 'Stage, mentioned above. Those 3 are excellent.
I'll add these too:
Guess Who - Live at the Paramount
Uriah Heep - Live January 1973
Those don't get mentioned much and are both awesome.

Nonsense-but-not-nonsense goes to Extreme's "Play With Me" from the Bill & Ted Excellent Adventure soundtrack. Ironically some of the least cringeworthy lyrics from this band when you realize they are all about childhood games, and it actually comes off pretty clever, combined with a c...

What LIVE Albums Are Perfection, Start to Finish?
Taking a cue from the other thread which was about studio albums, so let's do the live version. What live albums are perfect start to finish, no skippable tracks? Official releases only, no bootlegs . I'll start: Bob Seger - Live Bullet Bob Seger - Nine Tonight Lynyrd Skynyrd - One More From the Roa...

Re: Band members who don't wear shoes on stage
Ronnie Van Zant used to be barefoot on stage so he could "feel" the music through the stage, or he said something to that effect. I think Ozzy did for awhile too in the 80s, at least in some videos. I've seen videos of Samantha Fish and some other random women country artists on my FB reel...

Came here to say this! He had a lot of stuff out before Live Bullet exploded. Kinda like KISS with Alive, ironically the same year.

I've never liked piercings on women other than earrings. The worst is the septum piercing. They can definitely be overdone. And I'm with you on the septum...then when you're talking to them it's hard to look them in the eyes cuz you keep seeing metal in their nostrils. Navel piercings were and can ...

Maybe I just don't get it or I am missing some kind of point with this band, but I haven't heard anything from them that I really like. I dunno. They're just okay. Agreed with the earlier post about their marketing/social media team. They are EVERYWHERE in my Facebook reels. If I scroll through that...

I get how it can be unsettling or seem strange that older people are so decked out in piercings and/or tattoos. And a lot of it, depending how/where/what it is, can look ridiculous and downright off-putting. But at the same time, to each their own, ya know? People express themselves or decorate them...

More or less, yeah. Depends on who is playing on what.
Frontiers is a good example. Agreed that a lot of their project records sound the same but some are really good with the right veteran guys like the two recent Black Swan albums.

That "Before He Cheats" song that some women like to sing for karaoke. Yeah, of course it's OK to destroy your boyfriend's property because you think he's probably cheating on you. Imagine if the genders were reversed. This. I like Carrie Underwood but I've always hated that song for that...

Re: 2025 COUNTRY IS BETTER THAN ROCK: I'm a couple Jack Daniels in on a Sat Night
One of those things in the OP is not like the other. George Jones isn't 2025 country, and the bro country types aren't even in the same league as he was, but I digress. Classic country: Jones, Haggard, Jennings, Nelson (who is still out there doing it at 92), Hank, even groups like Alabama, or duos ...

Joliet, IL has a couple great ones here.
Audiophil's Records (same block as the legendary Rialto Theatre): https://www.audiophilsrecords.com/
Disc Replay (part of a much bigger chain, but it's independently operated and the guy runs it like an indie): https://discreplay.com/crest-hill

Ultimate Sin 40th?
Next year is the 40th anniversary of Ozzy's Ultimate Sin. Think there's any chance of an anniversary edition/box set? I was hoping they'd do one anyway, but now with Ozzy's death I wonder if it would make more/less sense? Up to Sharon, probably? A remastered version of the album Live show from that ...

Holy shit that was bad. Barely made it through a minute. Here's the same song from Rocklahoma 2008. Granted, nearly 20 years ago, but this was about the last time he sounded consistently good, and it's infinitely better than whatever it was in the OP. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwhxS0NX7GI&...

As has been alluded to in this thread, the concept of FU money is subjective. For some, FU money is being able to walk into a McLaren dealership, tell the salesman "that one!" pay for it with cash and drive off with it. For others, it's having just enough to stop working and invest it/save...
